HERITAGE INN - Inn in Kanchipuram - Kanchipuram, India

A decent hotel in the central part of Kanchipuram. The staff are good and helpful. It's an old hotel, and the ambience, doom decor and furnishings show that. The rooms are functional, but not very clean. The could make the experience better for the guests with a little more cleaning and care of their rooms.

Rooms are big but the maintenance is poor. Due to poor ventilation, the odour inside the rooms are terrible. The price they're offering is high for these rooms.

First thing , the staff are very polite and helpful. By mistake ( whether from the app side or from our side, not sure) we had booked a non A/C room for 3 people at the price of an A/C room. The staff, without any second thought, had provided us with an A/C room without taking a single penny extra.

Not clean. Bedsheets were not new. No dustbin, no door mat and toilet flush not working. Parking lot was not maintained. Not worth the price.

Hotel staff are very good. Bath room needs to be provided with exhaust /fresh air fan. Western type commode having lot of brown strains. Needs proper cleaning. Wash basin mirror needs replacement. TV is there but no cable connection. Torn off bed spread put on the bed. bed spread no replacement provided even on request.

Reception is quick and room bit service is quick. Had to ask for soap and towel , served quickly when informed. Hotel seems under renovation. Had booked triple occupancy room. TV was not working, reason was cable disconnected due to work in progress. Ceiling fan seems not cleaned since time of installation, high dust can be seen. AC was ok. Bathroom cleanness is not up to the mark. geyser is there and working. comod needs some repair. An average room for the price and ok for one night stay, but can find better hotel near Kamakshi temple area around same price.

Not worth for the price. No hassle free car parking. Every time they would disturb you if any other vehicle is taken out. No proper service too, for non AC - INR 1450/- is way high for the given no ventilation room n they don't even provide basic refreshing kit too... Recommended only when no other options found.
