Quite pleasant and nice, except during holidays or weekends when it tends to be crowded with teenagers filming Instagram reels. It's both amusing and a tad worrisome to spot people (mostly middle aged) glued to their screens while walking. Talk about irony My advice is it's a beautiful place, don't come ruin the vibes. It was a nice experience like. We guys we searching for a place like this for the past 6 months. And about this .it's a best place to come sit and enjoy your evenings. Free time in peace . It's a artificial lake but due to that in some point there are many waste .like it's stinks . But overall it's the best place to walk jog and enjoying your time . And it's a better place for those who are. Comming to Mysore for picnic

Great place for morning and evening walks. It has a paved path around the lake for walking. There is a small island-like formation in the middle of the lake where you can find birds perched on the trees. Mostly pelicans, egrets and herons. Good spot for bird watching.

Thanks to Infosys foundation for making this lake viable for recreation and maintaining it very keenly for the well being of mankind. Many families with kids come here for walking and jog. Have a very good sunset view in dusk. I have a small suggestion since I have seen many elderly people coming, few Indore refreshing games can be arranged so that our old aged people would enjoy their time, I'm saying this on a strong note that keeping our retired elders happy is very important so that we youngsters can interact with them through some activity recreation.

Earlier it was really good and well maintained, i am visiting this after an year i see that there is pungent smell of sewage water in Lake. I suspect, water from the treatment plant (present next to it or adjecent to it) is released without proper clean up i guess, needs immediate attention for clean up measures or else we can see gradual decline in people coming here for morning walk, jog, play, relaxation etc.

The approach road, the proximity to residential layouts, ample parking space, 2.2 km long (for one complete round) jogging track, flora, fauna, plastic free, and one of the cleanest, serene and well maintained lakes you will ever come across - two thumbs up to Mysore authorities, they are giving tough competition to Bangalore lake development authorities or maybe even winning already We went on a drizzling evening and my son just started running on the track after entering the main gate....lovely moment to see the emotions generated in a special child so after that there was no looking back - we enjoyed strolling on the track and taking pictures literally every few steps - scenic and soothing to eyes Birds seemed to be hiding during that rainy day but who cares - we will visit the place in our next trip and complete this missed itinerary - Guys go closer to nature, if possible daily and feel alive - Your guide signing off to another destination!!!!!
