Heavenly Breeze Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Varkala - Thiruvananthapuram, India

Cosy place to stay. Cheap price but the room is kinda moist (and smells a bit damp). Overall thought about the venue is 'okay'. Location is a +/-3 min walk from the beach. The service is very good and staff is very friendly! We had the room with the double bed, with which you get 1 towel and a 1person sized blanket as standard. On request, you can get more. Kitchen is available on request to cook own breakfast/meal. Nice to get to know the staff / other guests better :d Good place for backpackers that plan to stay for a short while. +++ for staff

Cool place. Stayed at the female dorm for a week. Meeting new travelers and making friends is a plus. Friendly staff that are very helpful. Definitely recommend. 5 mins walk to the cliff. Really cool and peaceful and clean. Won't mind going back again and staying there. Best place for solo travelers

Very good value for money. We stayed here 4 nights in a private room and the room was very cheap. Good comfortable bed, a small balcony area and a fan. Room cleanliness is ok. There is also warm water in thr shower which is rare for a budget hotel in India! The location is good a 2 minute walk to the north cliff and all the restraunts.

Lovely manager Ansil, make great Masala chai! nice communal area, kitchen for you to use as you like, just be tidy about it! Hot water, comfy beds (not hard) decent pillows and linen quiet fans. Some yoga mats dotted around. I'm definitely staying again next year.

Its one of the cheaper hotels in Varkala, but dont expect normal hotel services. Its more like a holiday home, where though you have amenities like AC, wifi & geyser, regular room service like cleaning are not there. The attitude is very laid back, you can just sit & enjoy the environment, but drinking water you have to buy. In fact, compared to other places in kerala, this will feel like overcharging on the basis of the room given, but when 99% of the visitors are foreigners, maybe its expected. It just takes 2 mins to reach the cliff using the back alleys of the hotel.

We had booked an ac room.. the room was okay.. but service staff was not there for any service . They need to work more on the cleanliness and treat all nationalities the same way... ;) Good Luck and hope to see a better heavenly breeze next year ;)

Good price but minimal comfort. Room becomes an oven when windows are closed and an insectarium when open. Five minutes walk to the cliff and the beach. Rather hippies place. Nice staff.

La chambre etait sale, pas nettoyee depuis belle lurette. Le lit etait dur aussi. Plus loin de la plage que beaucoup de Homestay. Il y avait beaucoup de moustiques dans la chambre et pas de filet antimoustique.
