Heartwood Farms Corbett - Hotel in Chhoi, Ramnagar - Nainital, India

I recently had a truly terrible experience at this hotel in Jim Corbett. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff here were not up to par. We were a group of five, consisting of one couple, one boy, and two girls. We had booked two separate rooms to ensure our comfort and privacy. However, upon arrival, they informed us that no rooms were available, and instead, they asked us to "adjust" in a small family room that we hadn't booked. This was not only inconvenient but also completely unjustifiable given that we had paid for two separate rooms. To make matters worse, the rooms were in terrible condition. They were dirty, and we even found a spider web on one of the beds, with a spider walking on our heads at one point. This was a clear indication of their lack of cleanliness and hygiene standards, which is unacceptable. The room locks weren't functioning correctly either, and we had an unsettling incident where a staff member entered our room without permission while we were not present. This made us feel incredibly unsafe, especially as a group of girls traveling together. The problems didn't end there; it took us a whopping three hours to check in due to the separate rooms issue. The food was also subpar, and the staff's attitude was appalling. They lacked basic customer service skills and made our stay at Jim Corbett a nightmare. The staff members were not only uncooperative but also aggressive in their interactions with us. It was clear that they did not know how to talk to their guests and were dismissive of our concerns. To top it off, they refused to refund our money for this dreadful experience. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. It's not only a waste of money but also a threat to your safety and peace of mind.

The location of this place was so soothing my family nd i stayed here for 1 night but we felt like home the staff was so good for every kind nd the rooms nd the washroom all are at best services. I really recommended this place to stay everyone was too kind.

The place is decent, it has got enough space to spend quality time with family and friends. But, the service delivery and cleanliness have room for improvement. We booked three executive rooms by paying in advance but the hotel manager could arrange two executive and one deluxe room for our stay. The Deluxe room had seepage and a stinking smell, and the hotel staff could not help pacify that. Food service is slow, it takes 1.5 hours to prepare a basic lunch, doesn't complement instant hunger pangs. But, overall a decent stay!

Very Very Bad experience with Kheem Singh the owner of Heartwood Farms. I recommend to everyone do not trust him. Let me share my recent experience with him. I have tried to book 2 rooms with him. First, He said rooms are available but then one day after he said it was booked and recommend other home stay of his brother. I have booked a room with his brother. Then I asked if He knows anyone who owns Taxi as we need to book Taxi from Haridwar for 4 days. So, he said there is one Ertiga with AC available for 22000 rupees for 4 days. I have asked for discount, but he said currently high demand is there so Rates are high, so I agreed and booked Taxi with him and transferred 3000 Rs advance to his account. So, He shared Taxi UK19TA1404 owner Anil's number with me and said Don't worry about your journey Anil is very good person so he will take care of you. I have shared itinerary with him. After looking it, he said it is very hectic schedule because he doesn't want to travel more. On Last day morning He said He needs to go on another tour so his brother will drop you Rishikesh from Jim Corbett Park Ramnagar. He sends another taxi which is very old and not comfortable, so we have asked him to send the old one which we have hired for 4 days but he does not agree as he has already taken booking for next tour. We have paid full payment to Anil at Ramnagar. The new taxi driver dropped us at Haridwar instead of Rishikesh because Anil didn't pay him his full taxi rent. We forgot to collect Taxi bill from Anil on that day. When I came back to home and tried to get Taxi bill so He said I will send you tomorrow evening and then after He is not picking up my phone. And I did not get the Taxi bill. Now Kheem Singh or Anil both are not picking up my Phone. 1) Initially they will say very good words and listen all your words but once you pay them all the money, they will not listen any words from you. 2) Don't trust any taxi drivers in Uttarakhand. They want to loot the travelers as much as they can. 3) Don't pay full payment to them until you reach your destination/tour ends.

We have visit Heartwood November Last week. Heartwood farms was very good and hygienic. We were three couple. All members were impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the hotel staff. They made sure good food. Hotel location was very clean green and rooms are also very clean and good. We would offer them best wishes for the same

Driver room is not available staff behaviour is very bad driver sate is only in the car.staff are talking not available room car driver

It is one of the best hotel for staying. I spent my whole 1 day there and that waa a great experience for me. All the staff are nice and have good behaviour. Even food is also delicious. Rooms ar are neat and cleaning.

This is such a worst resort property.. There's no proper electricity, water facility. They aren't provide any bucket & mug for taking bath.. Extra bed size is too slim, simply such a bad experience in this resort.
