No work starts before 10.30am....and sharply ends at 5.00pm or even before with 1 hour lunch break (unofficially)...in between non availability of staff, queue and various hurdles to get your work done. Like railways bit privatisation required to improvise/ speed up the services. They don't have DOP cards stock to supply branch offices...I am chasing for new card last 3 month for expired DOP debit card. Need to wait for another 2 weeks they said...while banks issue debit card before expiry date, these post offices take several months to provide new card.
The Assistant Post Master for savings bank accounts at Trichy head post office along with the gentle man at counter 4 provided great service to my ninety two year old father. Many thanks to them.

Very good post service. But today my aadhaar update application rejected. They deny to update my mobile number (technically no required any supportive documents but) ask me to show Driving licence. Don't know why??
It's having all in one for postal related work, but no parking area for customer vehicles, customer park vehicles on the road, no toilet facilities for customer, need improvement.
