Touted as one of Kumta's, nay Uttara Kannada district's best beaches. The beach is indeed clean with white sand. However the surroundings are dirty, to say the least! Plastic bottles, beer bottles, plastic packets litter the pathway that has been made along the beach. The views from the pathway are breathtaking. Even on a hot humid weekday there were several people in the sea enjoying themselves.
Best place to visit in both weekend and weekdays.. this is one of the must visit place in kumta. On weekdays it's not very crowded. Very peaceful environment. Speciality of this beach is its covered by hills and its kind of festival to the eyes during sunset time.
Great great place for sea lovers.... You have everything here... like sunset view point, place for sitting, rocky shore, sandy shore, lagoons. Place is not maintained clean, plastics and bottle thrown every where...
