Such a scam..asked me to buy an insurance policy on land loan which was taken for 10 years..but I closed my land loan in 18 months..whereas they took the 70% of the insurance premium in 18 month's..such a cheating and when asked for breakup..no proper response..Never buy any insurance on your homeloans

Purposely misleading location in google maps. Even appealed multiple times to correct, they don't. This is to discourage filing claims and make it hurdle to get money. 1) they don't have phone numbers for branch. 2) customer care says they don't have branch numbers 3) if you are not physically present in branch which enormous documents you will never get money. I feel they are bunch of scammers

First the location is wrong, told them to correct that before a month. But they didn't bothered to change it. This building will be easily missed as there is no board. Just lookout for dominoz perungudi building after toll, ask for direction with any domino guys. Second, these guys are least bothered about your queries and you will either end up going to other branches like tnagar, adyar to sort out your issues. I went here to surrender my policy before a month, they checked my policy and asked me to come after Nov 10 so that my surrender value will increase. But when I visited today they simply neglected stating surrender value won't increase, its an usual statement to avoid cancellation on that particular month. Then they said simply that the guy who is working for this surrender process is not working today and they don't have any clue when he will come back. So if you're approaching this branch for any urgency go prepared. Complete waste of time.

Mr.Duraimurugan in Perungudi branch was so helpful. He made sure my request is addressed on the same day so that I do not need to visit the branch again.

Map location is wrong. The actual location is in OMR. It comes immediately after the toll, to your left while traveling towards Adyar. Dominoes is the landmark. Service was excellent!

As everyone in this comment section says.... Location is tagged incorrectly and it's not allowing to update too. That needs to be fixed. Apart from that the services they provide are the same as how other HDFC life office does.

Very small office, you will easily miss it. Customer service is excellent. Uppili, the CRM is very responsive and attends the customer on time. I was given timely updates and my issue was resolved before the ETA promised. Worth visiting the permisses, than wasting our time in explaining our concerns over call to the worst customer support of HDFC life, who doenst understand any.
