Being a customer of hdfc I felt that the customer service is very poor. I don't want to share all the drawbacks, but would like to share something all people faces. 1. When we call the customer care number why should we need to pay? Is it to avoid calls from customers? Customer care number is meant to give services to the customer who badly need it. 2. When we make a call to customer care number IVRS has only two option language either english or hindi. If you people know to sell your products to customers who doesn't know to speak these language, how should they communicate.
If there is an option to not give a star, i would have given that. They are just trying to fool people. There is literally 0 profit on all their plans. It would be better if you put that amount as fixed deposit on any bank. The representatives do their maximum to make us take the policy and after we take it, they are so reluctant to even take your call incase of any queries. My money got blocked and i didnt even receive a single mail from their side. Without knowing that, i raised a randomn query amd i found out that my plan got cancelled and they didnt evwn inform me.pathetic service! They have so many plans like 10 year plan 15 year plan.dont get into trouble by investing your money. And NRI's , they are going to fool you a hell lot.
HDFC Life claim settlement is extremely unprofessional and probability to reject the claims with technical reasons are very high. Cancer care policy is very deceptive and branches are helpless to assist the policy holder after lodging claim. Be careful and think twice before you prefer this insurance company.
Since an hour waiting if somebody could attend... I'm here to surrender a policy and no one attend me yet. The counter person and branch manager attending the same customer....
