My wife was operated in HCG Cancer Care for Right hemithyroidectomy on 28.08.2023 by Dr. Kaustubh Patel. They kept 9 days in hospital as Calcium & Phosphorous level was varying tremendously after operation. They have tried to IV for Ca but could not succeeded for Satisfactory level of Ca & P. And on 5th Sept'23 they have given discharged. Now more than a month after operation & we are struggling daily for Ca & P. The function of keeping Ca & Phosphorous level is maintained by another gland called called Parathyroid which is just behind the thyroid gland must have been removed by them. This is the tragedy. My wife health is detoriating day by day as Ca & P which is essential element to body is not stabilising at all. We are showing it to Physician who has also confirmed that Parathyroid is removed completely & that is reason Ca level & Phosphorous level is varying. So another doctor said it is now life long illness & may get Stone issues & heart attack. Dr Kaustubh himself told that he is expert in this field & machinery is all technologically updated so there should not be any issue. But now as he has removed Parathyroid there is no way. What is remaining with us believe on God & curse the fate. We are waiting for any miracle to happen.
