Haveli Mirza Ghalib - Historical place in Delhi - Central, India

If you are into poetry and have ever crossed paths with the works of Ghalib, this place will woo you. It's nothing fancy, but just the residence of the poet. Couplets of his Ghazals are on the walls. It's nice to go to places which have more to offer than just superficial value. No tickets. Free to visit. Opens around 10ish am in the morning.

Nice and Heritage site. Golden days of stairs. Must visit being poetry lovers. No entrance ticket. Free. It's small place. The rest of the building is not in hold may be encroached.

In densely populated neighbourhood of Old Delhi is more than three centuries old and is a prized treasure of Mirza Ghalib Haveli, where he spent last nine years of his life. The visit takes you back 150 years in history and brings in mind the images when Ghalib would have lived here. Sheer delight. The place has now been converted into a small museum of sort where things related to Ghalib are kept and his poetry is written. It's a must visit.

Really well preserved place to see the house of legend mirza ghalib. Recommended for poetry enthusiastics. Doesn't get a lot of visitors but is an important place in history of urdu literature so visit at least once. It would take only 15 minutes. No ticket required

A fond remembrance of Mirza Galib. A little bit of haveli was renovated. Earlier small factories took hold of this haveli. But after serial Mirza Galib in 1988 , this haveli was tried to make as it was before. But only a small portion could be done.

This place is very calm. You don't need to purchase entry tickets to visit the Haveli. It is free of cost. It's situated at Ballimaran and the nearest metro station is Chawri Bazar. The Ghalib's poetry is written in three different languages so that a non- urdu person can read that too.

Mirza Beg Asadullah Khan as Mirza Ghalib. The house was given to him by Hakim, a physician who is believed was an enthusiast of his poetry. Ghalib lived in this Haveli for a long period of his life after he came from Agra. It is a heritage site declared by Archaeological Survey of India. After the takeover by the Delhi government the haveli was made into a permanent memorial museum housing objects related to the poet and his times. It is open to all, with free entry and no photography charges, from 11 am till 6 pm on all days except Monday. It located in the Gali Qasim Jan, Ballimaran, Old Delhi.

It was good Gali Qasim Jan Ballimaran is the mansion of Mirza Ghalib inside Old Delhi Mirza Ghalib was a great poet of the 20th century. There is no need to tell this thing to anyone, because everyone knows it. He lived in this street for the last time and died in this mansion on 15 February 1669. After that this whole mansion was converted into a factory and then in the 21st century, when Nasruddin Shah's movie came which was on Mirza Ghalib, then this thing was highlighted and the factory was again removed and Mirza Ghalib's memorabilia was kept here.
