Haunted place. Kuldhara - Tourist attraction in Kuldhara, Jiyai - Jaisalmer, India

This is Kuldhara the Haunted place. It is simply overhyped. In day time you will not understand at all why is it Haunted. It is completely empty and so at night there will be an element of fear. The story behind it is although very intresting and many movies and web series are now being shot at this location. Since it is on the way to the Desert so one can have a look and go. There is an entry fee also which makes it even less attractive.

This haunted village is currently under the archeological department. They have restored few houses very well. There is a temple near the village. Best time to visit - mornings. There is an entry ticket for car and tourists.

A very good place to visit en route Sam. One must know the history behind the village before going or it will look like just another empty village.

To reach Kuldhara, you must book a private cab through a travel agent. No public transport is available to reach here. The evening is when you'll get the most out of your trip to this location. This location provides access to parking. There are also options for tour guides, but I wouldn't recommend going that route. The area is steeped in history, as evidenced by the historic buildings and homes still standing there. Aside from the historic buildings, there is not much to see here. You should be able to see everything in a quarter of an hour.

Pretty much nothing to see here. Just an abandoned village in Jaisalmer with ruins of the old houses and walls. New structures were seen to be constructed in the place to add more detail to the place.

People should maintain cleanness here. The place is historical and need to maintain and show the courtesy. We found lots of plastic water bottle, chips packets thrown inside which is not good. Must visit place if you are interested to see such haunted places. If you see their houses you will get sense how people living at that time and you will get glance how people are united and driven with their leader (mukhiya) from ita story.
