The recent restoration efforts have preserved its grandeur, allowing visitors to marvel at the rich history embodied within its walls.

All the people working as pundits, florists were too supportive, even the watchman. The wheelchair access was great part. As we were traveling with a handicapped passanger they made her visit very easy and infact made her worship there without any problem twice. There was no hassle and pure bliss. Wonderful atmosphere. The temple is ancient and may be 600 plus year old. The Mahadev or hatkeshwar, is lord of Vadnagara Nagar Community. Earlier majority of Nagar's were staying in this city. The story says that They built this temple but kept it out side the wall of city so lord Mahadev was furious and gave a curse that only one nagar family will be able to stay in the town and rest has to go away. It so happened ! The famous singer sisters TANA and RIRI , who cured the burning o Miyan Tansen after singing raag dipak by singing raag malhar were from this town. Our beloved Prime minister Modi ji is also from here. He is the key person to re-design the entire area and bring it beautifully. One thing that hurts is cutting of huge old trees for this development

Nice place. Worship place for various community. A new look is given to temple and still work in progress... has good parking facility behind temple.

Its a well maintained and very clean place. there is a food and dinner and lunch also available here. Its a MAHADEV temple. great place to visit.

One of the oldest temples of Gujarat. Peaceful atmosphere. Construction is going on. If you visit it, visit kirti toran and tana riri garden too. Historical places.
