Hatia - Train station in Ranchi - Ranchi, India

Hatia (HTE) is one of the major railway station catering the needs of southern part of Ranchi. It primarily acts as a hub for the south bound trains as it connects Rourkela (ROU) on Howrah - Mumbai mainline. As far as crowd is concerned, it is relatively less crowded than Ranchi Junction (RNC) even though the maintenance of Ranchi bound trains is being carried out here. It currently has 3 platforms, but will undergo redevelopment under Amrit Bharat Station. Also Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi is nearby in case one has to catch the flights.

Pathetic station I ever have seen in my life! There are no lifts, even if there is one, it is not working. If you are carrying luggage with you, you have to take it all the way from ground floor to first floor from the stairs.

Hatia is a Railway station in Ranchi (Jharkhand). Neat and Clean Station. Less crowded..but some times near by area will be over crowded in Saturday. One Station one product shop ,book shop ,tea point, You will find in platform no 1.

Hatia is about 7 km from Ranchi station and station code is HTE Specially it is for train maintenance because there is train yard in Hatia... 3 platform are there in Hatia junction most of the train of big routes start from the platform -1.... Free WiFi is also available One thing i dislike the most is that platform 1 width is small when there is train arriving or departed lot of rush occurs ....

Good station with all the things, good infrastructure. Public toilet, also have a baby's brest feeding corner near ladies toilet. And baby food available at venders on plate form no. 1. Rest room in under construction. Tickets and train availability good, for major station and routs. Have wheelchair accessibility. And elevator. Cleaning ness of platform is excellent. RO water available at 5rs for 500ml

Hatia Railway station manages mostly trains for southern india (e.g: For Bengaluru, Chennai, Ernakulam etc) you can also get the trains for Mumbai , Kolkata, Delhi and some parts of northern India . This Railway station is basically built to decrease the traffic from main railway station of the city (RNC) Ranchi. Hence , good facilities are available here at station. Free/Paid Wifi, Dormitory, VIP lounge, upper and lower class waiting halls , separate PRS and unreserved ticket counters etc.

Loved it. The Environment of Hatia Railway station is very Neat and clean. Easy to access. Enquiry counter is available there for any queries. Water purifier is also available at affordable price. Friendly environment. Good security. Accelerator.

Station is good.. Area is bigger than Ranchi station.. Cleanliness and management is good... Spacious area for parking.. But late night there is a problem of auto for different places.. They charge generally high fare.
