Hatari Restaurant - Madhyamgram - Chinese restaurant in Kolkata - 24 Paraganas North, India

I went to Hatari during Puja. It was altogether a fine experience. It has a great ambience and the main thing, their food which is quite good. I won't say it was extra ordinary but it was good. They provide a huge portion of food so one plate is sufficient for two people if you are not a food monster . One stand out item was 'mongolian fish'. One more thing I want to add is the waiting area. I visited many expensive restaurants without a good waiting area but Hatari is exception. Although there is only one couch but still they utilize the small space very well. Now coming to the bad sides, firstly there is too many tables side by side so little bit privacy issue. Secondly the service can be improved.

Location : Few minutes walkable distance from madhyamgram chowmatha towards doltala on jessore road. It's on your left hand side if you facing towards doltala. 1st floor on the building. Ambience : Tables are placed in a spacious manner, Walls are decorated with memoirs and some handcrafted artifacts. Overall lighting ambience create a good mood of having dinner. Food Quality & Quantity : Though Hatari is famous for its Chinese food with a large quantity but this outlet is also served Indian cuisine also. This outlet is serve all kind vegetarian and non vegetarian (excluding beef items). All items are good in quantities and for a single items it can serve for 2 peoples. We ordered starters (dimsum,bao,lolipos, dry chicken etc.) with a combination of main courae (diffrent noodles and rice items along with main side dish). All main course items having 8 pieces of mentioned quantites. Final Verdict : It offered its own valued status and should be try to ge indulge it's own beauties. Located at a walkable distance from chowmatha hardly one can't resist to embarked its flavours. Must try - Chicken butter masala - who like to sweetend the pallete. Chicken do pyaza - a fiery juicy combined in spice and sour. Suggestion - Need to involve taste in chicken rezala.

A bit small place so shd book before u go .. the best food in barasat madhyamgram area without any doubt .. I have eaten in many places the food quality is better than park street restaurants .. the staffs are very cordial and their recommendations are also very good ..

I had visited this place for lunch. They have a very good range of Chinese dishes. Rice noodles is awesome. I have tried burnt garlic fried rice, that is also very good. Chinese fish dishes also very tasty. Staffs are very polite, they have suggested us good dishes. Also I have tried home delivery service of them, which was also very good. One thing I can say, they serve a good quantity also.

Food was not up to the mark, even the roadside Chinese counter provides quality, tasty, mouth watering food. We ordered squid Mongolian and asked for it to be moderately spicy but it was extraordinarily over spicy and that too it felt like not fresh at all. Though the honey pepper chicken was good and chicken lollipop was average. Service is not also very good, they will continuously come to your table to take your order without giving you enough time to think about it. Overall I didn't like it and probably will not visit again.

I recently dined at Hatari and was thoroughly impressed with both the quality and quantity of the food. The dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavours. The proportions were generous and more than enough to satisfy our appetite. I particularly enjoyed the Chille pork and Fish in red wine sauce both of which were delicious . The service was also excellent with the waitstaff being attentive and friendly . overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Hatari and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine .

The best thing about them is the variety of food they offer! From fish to chicken, lamb , mutton , pork , duck etc. You'll find a wide range of meats and dishes in Hatari. The average price of dishes is around 350 rupees here. With starters and a main course it will be around 600-700 rupees per head. Definitely worth a try for foodies! The staff are really helpful and well behaved!
