We were bit tired ...but the first sight of the water fall was surreal...we got energy to climb the stairs n reach the top point .From this point one can see Mokshadham and natural greenery. We relished mango / guava chips along with lemon soda. Nature lovers can enjoy peace and serenity here.
What a magical place in monsoon. The water droplets come to your face and make you all wet. It's not a popular traveling place but all the way towards this place is beautiful. We couldn't go inside the water as it was too aggressive in the rain but it was still worth visiting.
Really I enjoy too much. Very very beautiful view. I have no words to explain its beauty I want to take bath there but there is no permission to bath also there is so much water due to monsoon, but at staircase automatically water from the waterfall showers on us. There is a big area for parking so we did not face any problem of parking. It is filled of greenery every where because of rainy season .
Very pleasant place. There was good water in the falls during November. Very less crowd. Swimming etc is not allowed. There are enough steps to climb down from one of the routes. Only small stalls available for tea and lemon soda etc. Temple was under renovation and might look very grand after completion. Could still visit the main part of the temple.
Beautiful waterfall located in the vicinity of Shri Rudreshwar temple. During monsoon the waterfall looks incredible, surrounded by the greenery. Just a few steps from the temple and you can see the waterfall. If you are visiting, do keep the place clean.
One of the little known tourist destinations in Goa, Harvalem Waterfalls is a great place to visit as very few tourists actually come here. If you like quiet time in nature's lap, this is a place to be. A one hour drive from the North of Goa through the winding roads of Goa brings you here. There are steps to reach the waterfalls and once you're there, you can either choose to sit on one of the benches under the shade of the big trees close to the falls or go right down to the falls, where you have to wade through a stream to get through to the falls. The waterfall is very scenic and is a beautiful picnic spot. This charming waterfall is a mind-blowing experience, with Rudreshwar temple in its vicinity. The ... It's a pretty easy walk through. Highly recommended both for the long drive to reach here and the serene waterfalls. It's open on all days and there is no entry fee.
This is not a very touristy place and located on the outskirts of the city. It was not crowded even on the weekend. No entry ticket is needed to visit the waterfall. One can walk down the stairs to reach a ghat bit far from the waterfall where you can stand in water. There is a temple here and only 1 food outlet which serves tea, maggi and bhaji. Car parking is available.
Harvalem Waterfalls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls near Goa. It is located in Sanquelim, Goa. We visited during the monsoons and it was majestic. During monsoons, the water flows very heavily and public are not allowed near the base of the waterfall. There is a temple too which is under renovation I believe. Parking is available and there is a small shop near the entrance that serves Maggi, hot beverages and other snacks. This is a must visit place during the monsoon period to witness nature at its best.
Good place to visit. All the five parts of the visible caves signifies the five shiv lingas. Must to visit place. You will surely love and like this place is you are into spiritual journey and love and appreciate nature. No ticket required. Just a si
