Booked this hotel in the last minute.. But to my surprise, the rooms were great, good service, neat linen were provided. Overall a great value for money.. The only drawback is the entrance to the hotel.. The reception is in the basement
Rooms are Hygienic and Clean !! Lenin was Fresh. Check in and Checkout process are fast . It would be great if they take care about Amenities like AC and Geyser!! Better to confirm the functionality before you check in.
Normal stay only... All rooms are available only but not reducing the cost, toilets could be maintained clean.
If your purpose is only shower and goto temple , book this hotel. Not meant for relaxation. Hotel is average quality. Closer to railway station. They gave me a broken cot supported by a CPU . This completely made me disappointed (See the photo). What sort customer care they provide?
Not a good place to stay with family. We came late and it was raining so we decided to stay in the place. Otherwise we would have switched hotels. The room is not worth $1500 /night. Our sheets had stain and there is no phone in the room to call for replacement sheets. My husband had to go down and get them. Bathrooms can use scrubbing. I read the reviews on Google and booked this hotel. It's a total misrepresentation

I have stayed in few hotels in the past at Karaikal. I used to be unhappy with stinky pathways, dirty and moisty bed sheets. At Harsha it was all clean, decent. Staff were very helpful and supportive.
Stayed with family at Harsha Residency. It was a pleasant experience. Expecially the owner was very courteous and friendly.. I had actually planned to go to another hotel nearby but the auto driver suggested this. The room and bathroom was very neat and spacious enough. Though Karaikal is a warm place, there was electric water heater in the bath.. TV was good but limited channels, though that dint matter for a comfy stay. The bed was very comfortably soft yet firm, unlike some useless spring beds. Bedsheets and pillows were clean and fresh.. The bath towel provided lacked a fresh smell, but i guess it may due to the hardwater used for washing. The hotel is located at a junction on a reasonably busy street with lots of shops mostly wholesale. Very lively even around 10pm The main advantage is a multi cusine restaurant named Karai Chettinad, which is located on the first floor. Tgis is one of the best restaurants in the area and its just a floor beneath the hotel rooms. They even deliver it in the rooms, though there is no formal room service.. Basement parking was fairly empty but is a plus for a building on a busy street. Verdict Room : 5/5 Toilet : 4/5 Location : 4/5 Value for money : 4/5
Surprisingly good . The female reception person was helpful and informative.. food was good but a bit too for spicy for kid's.. breakfast was good. Surprised to see such a nice place down there..
