Harsha The Fern - An Ecotel Hotel, Shivamogga - Hotel in Shivamogga - Shivamogga, India

We stayed here and everything was excellent. Rooms are very nice, food is excellent. Service is little slow but staff is good. Enough space for parking etc. Housekeeping needs some training. I told them that there is only towel in the room and instead of trusting me they were saying that there r 3 but when they checked they kept only 1 when there r 3 guests. Also towels were not that clean. Otherwise great place.

Pathetic Hotel - Don't Stay here - Not recommended This was a group booking... Wanted to give Zero Star but there is no option. 1. Room Check-In - Even though we booked early, they gave the room after waiting for more than 1.5 hrs. 2. Extra bed - After asking 7 times, they finally put the extra bed. For few rooms they even did not bother to put even though we booked for triple sharing. 3. Food - They repeated the same menu in the night which was prepared in the morning. And night kurma they served in the morning for breakfast. No one liked the food. It was a totally not worthy. They do not even bother to fill the empty food vessels. We need to keep asking them. 4. Staff - Talks nicely but they won't do any work. Over all horrible experience. I think they go for paid reviews. If I get a chance, I will be happy take refund as it is not worthy. Utter waste hotel in Shivamogga.

We stayed as a family at Harsha - The Fern for a single night and quite enjoyed our stay. Both the checkin and the checkout was quite smooth, the rooms were quite modern & neat, with keyless entry. As a bonus we could also see a good sunset from our room itself. The hotel has a pool (open from 7am-7pm) which is maintained very well and has a bar adjacent to it, the quality of the pool was maintained very well as can be felt from the water quality. The best part I think is the food being served in the restaurant esp the breakfast buffet - one among the best breakfast I've had in a hotel. Would highly recommend.

Had an arrogant encounter with the security staff as soon as I reached the hotel. There is no valet parking in the hotel. Restaurant staff though have good behaviour but respond late. Rooms are good. Food is good. Overall is neither so exciting stay nor a disappointing one.

Good clean hotel. Very Spacious well maintained Rooms. Friendly, Attentive and Efficient Service staff. Wonderful location - just rightly away from city and yet not soo far away. Overall, very good value for money!!

Property is good. Checking in and checking out process is painful. They take lot of time, waited for an hour. Manager instead of being cordial and obliging, was very technical. Their was a mismatch in our booking records( we mentioned 5 rooms, 10 guests)and the hotel records showed 5 rooms,5 adults and 5 kids and unnecessarily insisted us to pay extra for 5 adults. Manager in spite of our request was not willing to speak to his booking partner, not willing to see our records and forced us to pay. Very bitter experience. On the whole even the property experience was not that great.

We stayed at the Harsha The Fern, Shivamogga for two night as part of our tour of Karnataka. Considering the price of the rooms we were very impressed with all aspects of the hotel, the room was modern with excellent facilities, the gym and pool were very good and the food likewise. Mr Jayant was very attentive in the bar/ restaurant

Its a 5 star hotel with 3star or even less price. Rooms are good spacious and clean. Service is top notch, I had a unusual request to provide me some roasted garlic in mustard oil, since my baby was having cold, they gladly heeded my request and were always available.
