Nice place away from town, scenic view and good place to visit for picnic. Natural fountain is cool to take bath without any problem. It have its own historic importance as per Vaidic details. Be aware of monkeys. You can feed them, they are not harmful.

The Harishankar Temple is located in the Gandamardan Hills in odisha almost 80-100 Km from Barghar town . It is believed that lord Hanuman got cured of his injuries after battle with ravaan. So, you will find lots of monkeys (Hanumans) here. Temple is amazingly beautiful ,once you reached there, you will fall in love with the beauty of this temple. Road to the temple is full of amazing views , mountains. Earlier due to Road its was very difficult to reach the temple so lots of devotees wasn't able to come here The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu amd Shiva, with separate Shrines dedicated to each God. If you are coming to Nurshing nath temple, you must have to come here other wise it is said that your prayer or visit is not worthy. Waterfall, every devotees take dip in this water fall .. There is also changing room for women so they can also take a dip in water fall. There is parking fee of 50-80rs ,you have to paid just 2 Km before temple. Shops product is bit expensive but it is acceptable

No doubt it is a very good place from religious angle. But the place is very dirty and full of unruly visitors. The day I visited the place I saw some people taking alcohol openly where some ladies were taking bath in the spring.

Harishankar is the best place in bargarh dist. Beautiful place for enjoying in water fall with slide. This place is around 80km from bolangir through patnagarh road. Here visit in rainy season because more water in waterfall. Definitely you can enjoy the hole day in natural beauty
