Best place for hiking understanding the nature, getting chills from the 80 degree steep steps and that too without any safety measures. It will take around 3-4hours to reach at top and come back at base. Do enjoy natural Fish Pedicure at the top. Be aware of the monkeys at the top, don't feed them otherwise they will tear your bags and try to find food in there.

So If you loves quiet challenges, you must vist the place, although is not that hard if you are visiting prepared. The best part about it is the 80 degree step climb and that's even two times. Reach the top and you will not be disappointed. The reward is well served.

Harihar Fort, also known as Harshagad and Harihar kila to locals, Make sure you come down in the same way that you uphilled . I lost my way and ended up in the other side of the hill. local residenthelped to reach back and his name is Ramdas( I owe you big time Ramdas) It is a historic hill fort situated in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, India. It stands at an altitude of about 3,676 feet above sea level and is known for its unique triangular shape, steep cliffs, and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Here are some key aspects of Harihar Fort: Architecture and Structure: The fort is renowned for its peculiar triangular rock-cut steps that lead to the top. These steps are carved into the rock and are steep and narrow, making the ascent challenging yet thrilling for trekkers and adventurers. It served as a strategic point for surveillance due to its elevated position. The trek usually starts from the base village of Nirgudpada and involves navigating through dense forests and rock-cut stairways. Fortifications: The fort was strategically constructed to include bastions and fortifications to withstand enemy attacks. The architecture exhibits the engineering brilliance of its time. Caves and Temples: At the summit, there are remnants of old structures, caves, and a small temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The fort offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the Trimbakeshwar mountain ranges and the Brahma Giri hills. Harihar fort is nice Trek with medium difficulty level. It takes 2-3 hrs for one way trekking. Recommended to start early morning at 6 if you are visiting it on weekends to avoid rush on the steep stairs. You can get water, Sarbat, Maggie on the way so need not carry much food with you.

These vertical steps are the main attraction of the trek, which makes it the most iconic climb in the entire Sahyadri Range. Harihar Fort Trek is short yet quite demanding. The last 200 feet of the hike is a nerve-racking climb, through those steep rock-cut stairs.

Harihar fort is such a beautiful and adventurous destination i have ever seen in India. The destination was must visitable in our life atleast one time , because much more to be explore in the destination. The harihar fort was situated in the nashik and we can reach the harihar fort from nashik through using bus and then treckjng to the spot by auto rickshaw or other travelling services that are provided at minimum cost. If you travelling using own vehicle then u can be there by your own but the route you are travelling should be careful. The best time to visit the harihar fort was early morning , so there is not much crowded and also you can enjoy the fogs and the best visuals of sunrise over there. And also while telling about the season the best season for visiting the Harihar fort was during mansoon , during these time we can experience most beautifully and also better to carry water while trekking. In the middle of the trekking there are some small shops we can see and we can purchase the needful things from there for the refreshment and also the amount of the particular products are different , its ok , because they are taking that products to the upper by trekking only there is another option to carry the product to the way to the upper part of the harihar fort. The scenery is unimaginable. So the destination was must visitable spot for those who are love trekking. And also the important thing to take in mind was if you have any health issues or any other fear to top please don't try this spot its also dangerous to them..

The trek is amazing, the views are immaculate....but if you go there on weekend it's really crowded because of the one way stair...we had to wait for almost 2 hour at the summit just to go down that stair part...and lucky the weather was pleasant but still it was hot af.. can't imagine going there in summers

I have done this trek 2months ago. One of my Dream trek i have done, it was very adventurous and wonderful experience to trek from base village to Balekille point(top of the fort). Talking about Harihar fort its 80 degree stairs and it's scenic views from top. While going up by stairs you will feel breathtaking moments. It's moderate risk but in rainy season it's very dangerous to trek. While trekking keep with you 3ltr water and some chocolate and food. It's around 1.5 hr trek.
