One of the unique temples that has shivling made of parad (Mercury) within the Hari Har Ashram that is well maintained and kept. The premise has a rudraksh tree (which is difficult to spot and benevolent yet lucky to see) surrounded by the reincarnation of 12 jyotirling around it. There was no wait time and decent parking available outside the ashram. Had a pleasant time visiting and seeking blessings from lord Shiva along with Charan paduka of Shri Shri Avdeshanand Ji.

Nice place... You sense a feeling of peace... Clean and well maintained. The staff members are nice. Greenery overall. Yes wearing shoes not allowed in the ashram premises. But that's not a problem as the place is very clean ... You can come and visit and sit and enjoy the calmness

Harihar ashram is situated in Kankhal town of Haridwar. It is one of the oldest ashrams of Kankhal area. It has a huge Rudraksh tree from where the Rudraksh can be seen. It has many temples on the complex, out of which the main temple & Maha mrityunjay temple deserve special mention. The main temple has a Huge Shivling made of Pure silver with the Lord Shiva in the middle. The entire room is huge with the Shivling in the middle. The Maha Mrityunjaya temple is a work of art. It is extremely beautiful in decoration. The pilgrims or tourists can even drop water on the Shivling in this temple. The serene ambience of the entire complex rejuvenate the soul.
Param Pujya Swami Avdheshanand ji Maharaj is the guiding spirit of this aashram. He is an authority on Vedant. This aashram is quite neat and clean and you feel spiritual vibes here. There are temples of different Hindu gods and a holy tree of rudraksha. Entry to the ashram or the temple is quite free. Swami Avdheshanand ji spreads the message of Vedant on different TV channels in addition to various programmes all over Indian cities and abroad.
