Hareli Eco Resort, Mohda, Barnawapara - Featured Reviews (395)
A lovely resort whose rooms are on Machans which is situated in Bar Nayapara Reserve Forest Area in Chhattisgarh. Lovely Rooms, and this area is full of greenery. High dense Forest area, away from Polution and burdens of life. Good food is served in side cafe in order. The views from rooms are mind captivating. You definitely love Calmness of this place.
Deep inside jungle .. please take option of staying in front of the lake inside the resort that is really worth. Food they provide is fresh and reasonable. Good to go with family for 1 day outing
good place best venue for family holiday nearby Raipur, food is so testy, staff is so cool, natural beauty.
I got a chance to be there for a one day trip. Being in forest with nature is the best thing one can demand for. The resort has a nice 12 air conditioned room and 6 water cooler rooms. The food quality is good as they serve you what you order. Being away from city the mobile network is zero so if you are looking at social fasting this is the place to be in. The room cleaning is descent people are very nice they even provide you service to the rooms. There is a water pond adjacent to the resort which gives a very good feel to walk around early morning or in the evening . I guess summer is not a very good time as the resort is run on solar lights and at night the power is low so they have to switch on the generator this killing the whole idea of Eco friendly resort.
Working staff is well behaved and helping personality But the official's and superiors are the worst Please gave them instructions at least behave in the front of visitors Living alone ( without) Coust. Make them blind and they don't like anyone who's goes there. Is it good ?
Had a great experience. Would suggest you couple of things - 1. Try to reach the resort before sunset. 2. Go there when the weather is cool. 3. Stay there for atleast 2 nights. 4. There is no signal coverage so be prepared for emergencies. My overall experience was good. The food the was nice but some how it messed up our stomach. Our AC stopped working in the middle of the night and we couldn't do anything, that's why will recommend to go there in winters.
Best place to stay in Barnawapara. And also it's very cheap and well maintained. Especially the machaan rooms have the best balcony view (lake view). Also the food quality is so good. Staffs were polite and well mannered.
Location is nice and set within the boundaries of Barnawapara Forest Area. There is a natural pond adjacent to the resort and one can walk around to enjoy the nature. Seating arrangement is also there if one likes to spend time there. Barnawapara Jungle Safari is some 10 km away from the resort. There are two kinds of rooms - one set as a Machan and the other as a singleton unit at ground level. Machan is the premium one set around the pond and pond view is available from each of the room. At each of the Machan, there are two rooms and they share the entry lobby. Each room has its own balcony provided with cane-chair and table where one can enjoy tea. ACs do not work but one can get warm water through solar water heater. TV is also there with DTH connection. Bathroom and WC may be disappointing as they do not look clean. This is perhaps because the Barnawapara wildlife sanctuary remains close from June to October and due to non-usage of WC there were dirty marks of water. Further they do not provide any kettle or tea bags in the room. Toiletries/slippers are also out of questions and one should bring with them. Room-service is available but at a cost. There is a canteen which serves decent quality food. But one need to inform them in advance about ones food-choices. There is hardly anything other than stay in the rooms and, therefore, it is not prudent to call it a resort in true sense. Overall a good hotel set in the forest area.
This place is very beautiful and peaceful, the height of this waterfall is about 60 feet and the stream of this waterfall further making many small waterfalls and natural kunds and the water is so clear that you can even see the stones inside the kun
