Hardys Villa Resort - Hotel in Daman - Daman, India

I'm really late in posting this review, but as I felt it was extremely necessary, I'm doing it anyways. I had been here for New Years and had a wonderful experience with my wife & son. Amazing people, food & staff. They keep the place clean & well maintained. If you're in Daman, you'll have a great time staying here.

1 - Good property and is very close to the beach. 2 - Tasty hygienic reasonably priced food 3 - Clean rooms and washrooms (3 categories of rooms available for diff budgets) 4 - No swimming pool available but they have a 30ft tank of sorts if you really want to hit the water. 5 - Friendly and co-operative staff.

Helpful staff, decent rooms. Complimentary breakfast is good. Our rooms stank, and mine had ant issues. They did get rid of the stink eventually, but the ants persisted. The rooms are clean until you look beneath the sheets or at the pillows, where it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Bathroom door is transparent, FYI.

A very very nice place to be in. The atmosphere around is also very very calm and quiet. The surrounding is also very good. The most recommended place to stay in Daman, since it is away from the hustle of the city and also on a 2 mins drive from Devka Beach. The resort provides complementary breakfast of which their service is availabe till 10 min the morning. The rooms are also very nice and spacious. The ambience around is also very cheerful. The staff around is also very nice and friendly. The resort has a restuarant which is open till 10.30 at night and has a DJ at weekend. All in all I loved this place alot and is also budget friendly. And it is couple friendly.

The ambience is very good. And it's very very close to beach and good restaurants around. The only problem what we faced was the washroom was not completely cleaned and necessity stuffs we're not kept. And they did changes and all but there was no justification of what was been done. Overall a good place to be!!

1) Found Lizard on the Bed.. 2) Room AC wasn't working so got shifted the room from one place to another.. 3) Service is quite slow though hotel's infrastructure is nice and it's clean too.. 4) Couldn't find the Hot Water in the morning. 5) Staff not being upto the mark.. 6) Being a RESORT in their name but where's the SWIMMING POOL.. How..?? "For the very first time, I've faced such a bad experience as I'm a frequent traveller.. Room charges for a night is also a bit high.. Check in and check out timings are similar like fixed price of the product.. One cannot check out after the checkout timings or else you will have to pay extra money for whole half day.. This is just Pathetic..!! I just hope that it shouldn't happen with anyone else..!!"

Dirty rooms. We requested housekeeping to clean the room but nobody turned up. The kitchen does not open until 8AM so no tea or coffee early morning. The intercom in the room was not functioning. Absolutely pathetically maintained

So the main reason to stay here was to cool off and get some rest The room prices are high According to the bad service they provide. Doesn't have a swimming pool, one can not spend the whole day out in Daman Swimming pool is an essential to get some refreshment. THE WORST THING ABOUT THIS RESORT IN THE NAME OF COMPLEMENTARY BREAKFAST THEY PROVIDE YOU NOT MORE THAN 5 ITEMS We were provided Poha, egg bhurji, Bread butter (it wasn't even covered and so it dried up) and tea Just 4 items in BREAKFAST Even a 2 or 3 star hotel would provide 15+ items in breakfast and we complained about the breakfast they gave an excuse "THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SOMEONE HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT BREAKFAST", they're showing like theyre feeling proud that this is the 1st complaint. I asked for a glass of cold water, the waiter said no that we don't have cold water available now. Really the worst restaurant service WASTE OF YOUR MONEY AND TIME PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE THERE ARE MANY RESORTS AROUND, AVOID HARDYS VILLA RESORT AT ALL COSTS.
