The name of this park is Shahid Veer Kunwar Singh Azadi Park which is under the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of Bihar. This park is made in two parts (1) Football ground for playing. There is a cricket practice net for children. (2) Morning and evening walks and open gym facilities are available. Note: This park remains closed every Wednesday

One of the favourite park among the morning walkers in Patna. Also known as Sahid Veer Kunwar Singh Park. Park is near to Patna Railway station and behind GPO. Separate field for playing cricket, Basketball, open Gym also available. A lot of people can be seen doing yoga on the green grass lawns of this beautiful park. Entry is free in morning. Some services like Gym are nominally chargeable. During day/evening time entry is chargeable.

Shaheed Veer Kunwar Singh Park, also known as Hardinge Park, is one of the oldest and most beautiful parks in Patna . built by British Raj in 1916. I remember during childhood use to come to see circus some portion was rented out to a circus. the garden occupies nearly 16 acres beaufifull lanscape, setting area with rich flowers and ornamental fountains..with clean bathroom and drinking water...there's old imle tree more 40-50 yes old had tasted fresh imly after long time you must see the The best thing about this park is the accessibility. Very easy to find for people who are new to city as it is situated on the main road. The park has a very good track for morning walks for joggers, walkers, and people looking for a peaceful place to elax. The park has several benches and seating areas which is really a good thing. I am a regular morning walk visitor here. Although there is Rs 5 charge for morning walk but almost any good park has this same rate in the city. Overall Hardinge Park, is an excellent place to visit if you're in Patna. It's a perfect place to start your day with a morning walk or unwind in the evening with a peaceful stroll . Playground There is a very large playground area which is a nice thing. Restrooms Restroom are available and is well maintained. It's a big park with lots of greenery, trees, plants, flowers and huge trees. There is also a small pond with lots of swan and bench area around the pound. There is an area with rides for kids like swing, see saw, slide and many others. There is a huge statue of Kunwar Singh. Its a very well maintained and clean park for picnic with friends and families. It's location is very accessible since it's just beside the road. One issue is that only one gate is open at any time even though there are many other doors, so people have to walk back and forth alot to exit the park.
