Hard Rock Hotel Goa - Hotel in Calangute, Saligao - North Goa, India

I'd call it a three star hotel. But that being said, the staff was very helpful and nice. The pool was clean and the breakfast was ok. The bed was comfortable. About 10 minute taxi to the beach. Maybe slightly less depending on traffic. Not very walkable.

Worst experience in a "5 star hotel" ever. I am currently staying in the hotel and can't wait for this stay to be over. It should not even be categorised as a 5 star hotel. Rooms: The bedrooms are depressing with the AC not working properly (the hotel staff cleaned the mesh inside the AC twice and still it was not enough). There's only 1 switch in the room that controls all the lights. The curtains (or the blinds) are not even blackout and so much light comes through them. Most Shocking: We woke up to construction work (hammers being struck like serious work was being done) and had to call the reception to get it stopped. It went on for about an hour after we called. Food / Buffet: The buffet dinner spread was so small and barely had 5-6 choices. We ordered a few soft drinks before we started eating and they never arrived on our table so we had to cancel them after we were done with the food. Room Service: We ordered some food from room service. After about 35-40 minutes of waiting, we called the reception again and they told us that no order was placed and then they said it'll take another 30 minutes (the hotel staff declared that it was a fault on their side) The worst experience of all: We came back after a long and tiring night and the first thing we saw was that the elevators ( which are so small and look and feel like service elevators ) were turned off and not working. We waited for 10 minutes and still no resolution was found so we had to use the stairs. The moment we reach our room, all our key cards (3 of them) had been deactivated because of some "error" and then had to wait more to get new keys. If you're planning a stay here, you'll be much better off looking for other properties in the same area. I still don't know how this is a 5 star hotel. I wish I had looked properly and considered other options. Out of my 4-5 trips to Goa, this was the worst experience I ever had.

Location is really good, just 100 m from the market where you can get anything, also not far from beach and other places of interest in North Goa. There is hassle free bike service just outside hotel to make life easier. Pool and bar service were top notch, special shout out to Nitin who helped us at multiple occasions. Rooms are bit small but bathroom area is decent, acoustics of the room can be improved, also AC does not seem to cool below a certain temp level. Overall a great value for money.

Food was good but they are making fool in drinks if you are on drinks counter you will get the right drink if you are ordering the drink they will not give you the right one. Rooms was clean all the time that was good Dhya was good in his job. And light blinking problem was also there and water supply was also so poor.

Myself George Michael, Checkin Date, 21st October 2023. My recent stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Goa left much to be desired. While the hotel's ambiance and rock-themed decor were impressive, I was disappointed with the condition of my room. The room was not up to the standards I expected, especially considering the hotel's reputation. First and foremost, cleanliness was a major concern. The room had visible dust on surfaces, The overall room maintenance was lacking. The paint on the walls was chipped, and some fixtures were loose or not functioning properly. The air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, which made my stay less enjoyable. For a hotel with a renowned brand like Hard Rock, I anticipated a more comfortable and pristine room. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and invests in improving the room quality and housekeeping standards to meet the expectations of their guests.

It was a great experience staying at the hotel. Please book before hand as they have a dynamic price daily. Service wasn't good enough. I had to call 4-5 times asking for cutlery or water. Sometimes even after 30-45 minutes no one bothered to come to room for service call. They never cleaned the room by themselves, everytime you have to go and ask them to clean your room. They have given me a minibar bill mistakenly though it was taken care of shortly. Not much hassle here. Breakfast was good. Lots to options to choose from. Food quality was amazing. Hotel ambience is rocking from morning till night. You will surely enjoys lots in the pool area especially in the evenings when there is a live band performing. All in all, a value stay with some hiccups.. :)

Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent.The receptionists milatha were really helpful and friendly.The location of our room was absolutely perfect. One of the best resort I have visited till now. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable.

My family and I had a great time at Hard Rock hotel. The service was great. I would like to give a special shout out to Ms.Alex and Ms.Disha who were there to constantly look after us during breakfast hours. We also appreciated the chefs that would make fresh pancakes and omelettes as per our requests.
