Seriously a marvelous experience with nature and the gentle giants. Entry tickets are 50rs per person and less crowded during the week days. A sunset view is there and we can feed the elephants. Lots of spacious places and well maintained.

Well days are the best time to visit with not much of a crowd. There are anywhere between 5 to 7 elephants in this camp and you can feed the elephants with small bunches of grass which the mahouts sells near the elephant stable. Kids will enjoy the place and the elephants are at a safe distance to click some good pictures and selfies.

Harangi Elephant Camp is one of the best places to visit in Coorg. Its so underrated and unknown to many people. In fact its much, much better to Dubare Elephant Camp. This place is located at arpund 10kms from Kushalnagar and very near to Harangi dam. Its open from 8am to 9.30 am and from 4 to 6.30pm. There is enough car parking area. From the parking area, one needs to trek for about 800 mtrs, which may be not suitable for elderly people. Kids will enjoy the trek. Once you reach there, not only kids but also adults will fall in love with the jumbos there. When we went there were 7 of them. As its less visited, there is hardly any crowd, no waiting period and you can just enjoy the presence of elephants for almost two hours. You may carry fruits for elephants, but dont feed them without the permission of forest officials. Even if you miss Dubare, you wont feel bad once you visit this place. Its just on the banks of Kaveri. If you visit in evening, you can enjoy the sunset too.

A good place to visit for nature lovers. There are only 6 elephants and the timing in the morning is 9am till 11:30 so you have to be on time to see elephants. Other than elephants you can click good pictures of back waters. There is a machan to click panoramic pictures. You will not get any food and water so be well prepared. Washrooms are pathetic even when they charge 3Rs per person to use it (they should at least maintain the hygiene). If it's a sunny day take umbrellas otherwise ready to be sunburned . Overall a nice place to hang out with family or friends. 50Rs per person is the entry ticket.

Very scenic and excellent place to visit. Good alternate option for Dubare elephant camp. Best time to visit is during sunset. Ticket cost Rs50. Small pack of food cost Rs50 and you can feed it to the elephant. Very nice experience and peaceful. 800 metres walk from the ticket counter and the path was full of stones & mud.

Less crowded than Dubbare camp but there were only 5 elephants when we went. Can go close to the giants and feed them for a small fee. The place is situated 800m from the parking/ticket counter which is to be trekked. It's rocky/muddy path all the way up. The reservoir on one side makes it very serene.

This camp is a new one and less crowded than Dubare Elephant camp. Kids will enjoy and you can as well feed the Elephants. From the ticket counter, you will have to walk around 800 meters to reach the elephant feeding area. Please carry water bottles with you as there are no shops in the top. Other side of the camp has a good view of Hemangi reservoir. Also, there is a small children's play area. Parking space is ample.
