Lord Hanuman Temple at hill with Sita Rasoi also. One can use the staircase to reach the temple or ropeway @ Rs145 or jeep @100 per person or 500 full Jeep if u are a family. Parking fees 10rs nagar palika but shopkeepers ask for parking in the form of buying Prasad if u park in front of their shops. Beautiful view from the top of the hill of chitrakoot and in monsoon it's all green n beautiful
Sacred place when Hanuman Ji, burn the Lanka and to calm that fire , Shri Ram Ji used a bow and pointed towards the mountain where river flows down to help Hanuman Ji.. Also, there's a ropeway for people who can't climb much, as it's situated over mountain.
Nice place. Natural water flow here continuously. Just above the hanuman dhaara, SITA RASOI is present. Best view from above the hill. But you have to wait for the tickets for ropeway or you have to climb 600+ stairs. You should visit at morning/evening time.
Hanuman Dhara is a divine retreat that envelops you in a cocoon of spirituality and natural beauty. Nestled amidst the hills, this sacred spot offers a unique blend of devotion and picturesque landscapes. The waterfall at Hanuman Dhara is a spectacle to behold. The cool, refreshing water is believed to have healing properties, and many devotees take a dip in its waters as a form of purification. The feeling of standing under the cascading water is both invigorating and spiritually cleansing.
Nice place in Chitrakoot. This place situated in the top of the hill. This place is related to the holy Ramayana. Sita Rasoi is there in the top of the hill. Ropeways as well as stairs are there to reach in the top. Ropeway charges Rs145 per head in up and down. Natural beauty is overwhelming. The only bad thing about this place which i felt little bit painful, overcrowded saints/ sadhus in a small places. These sadhus takes donation in the form of money forcibly. Local administration has no control over them. I would like to draw the attention of the local administration, so that they take some measures in this matter.
With every step up towards the mountain a different level of enthusiasm illuminates your being and with every step down back towards the ground after visiting the temple, will fill you with enthralling exuberance.
One can reach this place via rope way or by walk. Its on hills so select wisely. After getting darshan we went by walk through stairs to pay our gratitude to Sita Rasoi. It's peaceful and must visit place if you go to Chitrakoot Dham. Darshan timing is normal. Cameras are allowed.
