We had been with a family. Had a great experience. The trail walk, food and courteous staff were the highlight of the trip. Recommend you to have a day or two to enjoy the property and not step out

Great location if you want to enjoy offbeat time. No mobile network so you enjoy the natural beauty. Rooms were clean you have to walk around 500mtrs to reach your room. This resort has an amazing hill view with a river view. You can walk around the river relax and enjoy sunrise

My stay at this remarkable establishment began with a warm and inviting welcome at the reception. The attention to detail in the room was truly impressive -- impeccably clean and beautifully appointed. The top-notch amenities provided added to the overall comfort and convenience of my stay. The staff's dedication and professionalism were truly commendable. Their willingness to assist and consistently going above and beyond ensured that every guest, including myself, felt valued and at home throughout the entire stay.

Great place go stay . In the wilderness. By the banks if the river. We spotted a crocodile just in front of our room. Not too great for children as there is no entertainment for them. Room are average , could be better. Loads of monkeys around. Food is very homely and good. Overall good experience.

Very nice place,located on the tungabadra. Rooms are very nice with necessary amenities. Food was really great for both adults and children and of good quality.lunch, diner and breakfast options were good and very hygienic. Nature walks in the evening and waterfall walk was also really niveand adventurous for kids and adults. Staff was excellent , both managerial and kitchen. No wifi and mobile signal meant time away. Would have Liked some reception when paying bills.

The hotel is located on the opposite side of Hampi town on the banks of River Tungabhadra. The property is spread over a vast area! Low connectivity (But totally worth it! To be disconnected from the world for a few days! Perfect place for detox!) The rooms are basic. Food is cooked absolutely like home style, really tasty! The staff is really very friendly and helpful! The manager Mr. Vinay takes really good care of all the guests! And a very good conversationalist very knowledgeable about a lot of things! Do go for the Nature walks and other activities you won't regret!

Very nice place to stay. Away from technology and other disturbances. If you are looking for alone time with family or alone it's a great place. They have many things to do within the resort, there is no reason to go out except for food. Breakfast at the resort is good, lunch not very good, dinner I haven't tried. Extremely courteous staff. I will definitely want to visit again in the future.

This beautiful resort is located around 35 km from Hampi, on the banks of the Tungabhadra, off the Hospet /Anegundi/Gangavathi road. It is around 2 km from the main road once you turn at Basapur village. Google Maps does a great job with directions. The Gandhiji statue is a good landmark to take a turn from the main road. The path after that is narrower but pretty safe to drive. This picturesque path leading through paddy fields gives you a taste of the beauty that lies ahead. True to its name, the resort is nestled among boulders and rock formations, surrounded by hills, and offers several treks and trails, like the island trek and waterfall trek. The landscaping is aesthetic - the cottages blend seamlessly with the bamboo groves, jamun trees, green canopies, and water bodies. Butterflies, peacocks, a variety of birds, and of course monkeys, are constant companions. The rooms are well-maintained, clean, functional, and well-appointed. We stayed at the Rock Cottage for 3 days and the Star Cottage on the last day. Both were lovely albeit different experiences, the first among the boulders and the second on the riverbanks. The staff is efficient and always happy to help. A special thanks to Vinay Jadhav who manages the property. With his first-hand knowledge, he helped us plan a perfect 3-day itinerary to visit sites in and around Hampi, complete with places to sample local cuisine and experience the Hampi vibe. If not for him, we would have missed out on Hire Benekal, a mesmerizing prehistoric megalithic site, atop a hill. The food was delicious with balanced flavors and a homemade touch. A warm and courteous staff made the dining experience all the more pleasurable. We had breakfast and dinner at the resort on all days. We would have preferred more of the local cuisine for dinner, but considering guests from diverse parts of the world, the mix in the menu was understandable. All in all, this resort offers a truly memorable experience when visiting Hampi. Most definitely recommended. A word of caution, if you are looking for a regular hotel with room service, bed tea, a spa, etc. then this is not the place for you. Also considering the location of the resort amidst greenery and rocky hills, there are several creepy crawlies around, so if that is not your thing then think twice before you book.
