HAMPI CAFE - Coffee shop in Hosapete - Ballari, India

This is the place for that deep caramel, ek kadam karak chai you have been craving on a sleepy afternoon. It's centrally located and about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The prices are reasonable, it was Rs. 15 for a small and Rs. 25 for a large chai, and they accept UPI payments which added to the convenience. Really and truly this is more of a tea stall, since they don't have places for sitting, though there's a tall neem tree which gives ample shade. The staff are very helpful and from my brief visit I could tell this is a popular local gem.

Tried the tandoori chai here and it was authentic and refreshing. Especially the creaminess and the unique muddy aroma of the kullads. Been here a couple of times and the taste is consistent too. Would totally recommend this place!

Amazing chai taste. Must visit when you are near Hampi. Visiting Hampi, then Do visit Hampi Cafe. Tandoori Chai has very good health benefits. The owner of the cafe is also very friendly and provided good hospitality.
