A place with amazing food and great ambiance with warmth. Minimalistic, beautiful, and cozy stay with great hospitality. Located at the best location possible. Had an amazing time at #Halfwayhomegokarna. The people in and around the place have great sense of hosting! The music, food, inhouse Kombucha with amazing pizzas were just icing on the cake :) I love the way the entire place is been made with so much sense of art and beauty and yet keeping it aesthetic and minimalistic. A well run family cafe. Cozy ambience,Great music and bloody good food! The owners are responsible people who are able to maintain a charm in an otherwise chaotic tourist destination which is quickly losing its soul. The easiest of 5 stars!
The French fries were really yummy, and quantity was so much that we couldn't eat it all. The pizzas were good too. The owner is cool, and the place has a nice vibe.
My stay here felt like home. The property is very well maintained and connects you closer to nature. Personally to me it was people - warm hospitality, lip smacking food, kombucha, banana buns. I got to spend Tulsi pooja evening here and the family invited me to join them. It was a beautiful evening and of course, Karthik is the best host you can get :)
It was Home away Home for me. The place, vibe, music and the food man, though home made was never less than any other restuarants, best part is how they've multiple cuisines to choose from. Also their discipline requires a shout-out! They also have Pawfriends that are too sweet for life. At the end of the day, I can say I'll choose this place over and over again everytime I visit Gokarna. To more power in the coming years Halfwayhome! Keep rocking :)
Me ane my friends had our dinner for 1st night in gokarna and it was amazing. We had pizzas, kambucha, and tomato rice and it was delicious. The hotel staff is so friendly enjoyed our time here.
Very homely atmosphere and good food. The host is very helpful. You can get good coffee and tea also. Clam stay and happy place.
Definitely one of the best places to eat in Gokarna. The taste is very authentic and delicious. The best thing about the place is that they DON'T USE ONE TIME PLASTIC. I noticed that in Gokarna there's a lot of plastic waste around the place and this was great to know a business caring for the environment. For breakfast, I tried: 1. Puri Bhaji - is was great. The puris' were soft and the bhaji was also good 2. Mangalore Buns / Banana Buns - I tried this first thing in my life and loved it For lunch, I tried their thali which was very fulfilling. For dinner, I tried: 1. Feta Pizza - I personally didn't find it to be that great but somehow people have loved it. 2. Blue Tea Kambucha - this was my first time drinking a kambucha and I just loved the blue pea flavour. Definitely recommend Overall loved how the place is run by the owner Kartik. He's very welcoming and kind. Cheers to such businesses
