Haldiram's - Sweet shop in Kolkata - 24 Paraganas North, India

Great place to have snacks. We tried the samosa and veg cutlet. They were pocket friendly and good. We also had ordered veg munchurian and fried rice. It was not that good. Basically all the Indian dishes are good in taste.

The restaurant is focusing only on packing and covers instead of improving quality of food or taste. They are even fail to maintain food hygiene. Food ordered for 08 people on 27 March 23 was smelling. The salad was having rotten carrots hence entire food was smelling badly. The customer care apologized but not ready to replace or refund. So friend be careful of your healthy and eat with then with utmost care

The outlet offers a wide variety of sweets and namkeen for dine in or take out. I tried the Dhokla, which cost Rs40 for a plate and it tasted great. Other options are also worth exploring. Seating space is available and has a good ambience. Winter special Makke Di Roti and Sarso Da Saag can be availed here.

Absolutely delicious food, freshly made and served. Raj kachori was better than other outlets, seasonal makki di roti and sarson da saag with gur and radish was okay. Nice location and good food, must visit shop

Hello foodiezzzz, When it comes to veg food, people surely think of Haldiram's in their sub-conscious mind. Let's get started. Ambience: It doesn't have a big space. It is approximately for 15-16 people. Besides, being tidy and hygienic, its decor is quite normal. Don't go for ambience, go for the food they serve. Food: Like any other outlets of Haldiram's, it served good quality food. Haldiram's never compromises with the taste. Quantity is justified in comparison with the price. What we had: Pav Bhaji Kulcha and Dal Makhani Chole-Bhature Mango Dahi Staff: Here comes the disappointment. Staffs were really inattentive. We ordered something else, and they served something else. Later, they rectified it. There is a communication and coordination gap among the staffs. They took a bit longer time just to heat the delicacies. Great food. Authentic Indian touch. Friends, family or colleagues, you can drop in with anyone and have a great time here. Quick snacks to heavy meals, everything comes handy at reasonable price.

Food quality is not good. After eating the samosa chat I fell sick. I complained while eating as the taste was not good, response of the Haldiram people was also bad.They charged the full amount also.After coming to home I am having stomach pain and start with loose motion from the morning. Earlier also I bought Chuda mixture which I had to throw away as the quality was bad. It seems they are using low-quality oil for food and using stale foods.

Good variety of Sweets but not typically bengali style. Price range from INR30 per pc Diwali new year gift hampers are budget friendly with ample choice of chocolates,dry fruits,sweets. Service is prompt Shops are decent and clean
