Good food under affordable price range. Spacious atmosphere, high amount of tables are available. Varieties of sweets are also available for desert or gifting purpose. Mocktails are also available (average taste) but the behaviour of the staffs are very helpful. The kulfi is the best one.

One of the big and oldest veg food joints . They offer a big variety of south indian dishes, cookies, sweets, thalis, snacks, ice cream, packed foods etc. Particularly these branch located at Elgin road near Rabindra Sadan metro station and near Nandan. I used to love their food but now I don't like it much. It seems like a higher price than quantity. Last time I tried their pav bhaji and the bhaji was really very sour. They always use a great quantity of butter as a test maker. Which I personally don't like.

One of the most popular and oldest Haldiram outlets in Kolkata. This is situated at the Exide more, Kolkata near the Rabindra Sadan Metro station. They offer all the signature dishes of Haldiram which are mandatorily pure veg. Chole bature is their most popular item. I had meals at this outlet multiple times. Recently, during the festival, we had rice meal, butter nun meal, dosa, pao bhaji and ice cream for lunch. Unfortunately, none of the food items were good to taste. The rice was extremely oily and I have specifically asked for daal makhani, but they have provided paneer butter masala as an option. The persons sitting at the billing counters are not at all good listeners. They also took a lot of time to clear the table after someone had food there, we had to request multiple times just to clear the table. The dosa and ice cream both were pathetic. Only due to the prime location in Kolkata, this becomes a popular destination, otherwise they need to think very seriously about the food's taste and hospitality.

The quality as well as quantity of food is quite good. The prices are well within the budget and seating arrangement is ample. This is a perfect place to visit with family or friends.
