Haiderpur Wetland - Tourist attraction in Ranjeetpur - Bijnor, India

Wetland itself are unique. Very beautiful and soothing place. Bird watching, cycling and many other things can be done. Best time to visit is at morning. Bikes and cars are not allowed inside area. Ticket fee is nominal.

Very peaceful place. We find peace of mind if we go there. The best biodiversity wetland in the area. Migratory birds come here in winter and stay here for approx 5 months. People can enjoy boating here and you can see dolphins also.

To good a place. Away from madding crowd. Great place for morning walk bird watching looking at the spread of Ganga. Just wow. Must plan a trip. 2 and half hours from Indirapuram. I started 4:30 am and reached their at 7 am and that's when it's open

Decent place for couple of hours of outing. The place has decent view on a sunny and clear day. It is generally less crowded on weekdays. There is option to rent bicycles too, although the maintenance is not too good.

Haider pur wetland is now ramsar site, declared few days back. So very soon it will come out to the level of international importance. This is a protected forest under hastinapur wildlife. You can see vast biodiversity here. This should be a ref point to study environment and biodiversity. Must to visit there.

Haider Pur Wetland is close to Bijnore Barage situated on the banks of River Ganga. It is spread over 1,214 hectares. This is well connected by roads form majour towns like It is around 135 kms from Delhi , 45 kms from Muzaffarnagar and 62 kms from Meerut . Haiderpur wetland is explored around 4 years back since then local and state administration is working hard to develop this area for watching local and migrated birds . Recently state forest dept. leve dolphins and Gharials to develop this area and water animals conservation. Facelities added to develop this area like Huts for watching Birds , lower trails for closer look , Benches for some rest , Bicycles provided on rental basis (Rs 50/hour) , restriction on the movement of four wheelers , toilet facilities for both men and women ( neat and clean) . An entry fee of Rs 50 per person is applicable from year 2020. You can definitely enjoy and learn a lot about birds . Ideal for nature lovers and bird photographers. My suggestions for further more development of this area like please clean the water hyasinth form the water as i am a regular visitor since last 3 yrs this increasing yearly. 2ndly plz arrange to develop some hideout or covered huts near lower trail it will helpful for photographers. You can watch more than 200 species of birds here . best time to visit here is January to march.
