Hadsar fort is really amazing
Only 45 min trek to reach on the top of fort
There are two different routes to reach on top and one of them is really adventurous.

Overall good experience
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hadsar Fort, nestled in the scenic Junnar district. This fort is renowned for its enthralling trekking trails, historical significance, and captivating natural beauty. I primarily visited during the monsoon season, which added a touch of mysticism and charm to the experience.
The fort stands proudly, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As I ascended, the foggy environment enveloped me, creating an ethereal atmosphere. The cold winds brushed against my skin, giving me a sense of adventure and thrill.
Upon reaching the summit, I was greeted by the sight of three ancient cannons, standing tall as silent witnesses to history. Adjacent to them, a serene Shiva temple exuded an aura of tranquility and spirituality. I took a moment to admire the intricate carvings and intricate architecture, truly a testament to the skill of the artisans of yesteryears.
One of the highlights was the picturesque pond, glistening like a mirror amidst the fort's rugged terrain. It added a touch of serenity to the surroundings, and I couldn't resist capturing the stunning view.
As a trekking enthusiast, Hadsar Fort fulfilled my desire for adventure and exploration. The lush greenery and mist-covered trails added an element of thrill and made the trek an unforgettable experience.
I would highly recommend visiting Hadsar Fort during the monsoon season. It transforms into a fairy tale setting, where nature unfurls its captivating beauty. You'll be mesmerized by the foggy ambiance, the cool breeze, and the serene surroundings.
Overall, Hadsar Fort left an indelible mark on my heart. It's a sanctuary for nature lovers, history buffs, and anyone seeking solace in the lap of nature. Make sure to visit this enchanting destination and witness its magical allure firsthand.
Hadsar fort is among the many forts in Junnar region of Pune district which were meant for protection of the ancient commercial trade route from Mawal region to Kalyan via Naneghat. There is a marvelous sculpture design of the bastion and the fort entrance, which is not seen elsewhere
The Hadsar fort is near the Village Hadsar. Hadsar village is located 13 km North-West of Junnar. From the village, there are two paths to reach the fort top. The easiest way is from the southern side, which passes through the main gate. the other way is from the northern side of the Fort. There is a rock path of 20feet high to climb. There are rock-cut holds and thrust to rely upon, but is a very difficult yet thrilling experience. The help of experts with climbing apparatus and ropes should be taken while climbing. A night halt can be made in the Mahadev village
Hadsar fort is based in junnar region in pune district .There are other forts too which is nearby this fort like Chavand , Shivneri and Naneghat. There is a beautiful sculpture design of the fort entrance, which is not seen elsewhere. They are all carved from a single rock. The main attraction of this fort is "KHUNTICHI VAAT" through which you can climb this fort ..This route is very very challenging and dangerous so young generation defiantly getting attracted to this.Dont even try or dare if you don't have such climbing experience. But there is no words once you climb over through this route.
Awesome experience.
Best trekking place near junnar. 15 km from junnar where you will get awesome view of nature from the top of hadsar fort. Best for trekking. Difficulty level is easy. There are three ways to reach hadsar fort. Ancient shiva temple is there on hadsar fort. In summer there are lots of "karwand"(ranmeva) .also you can visit manikdoh dam which is enroute to hadsar.
Nice place for one day trek. There are two main routes one from main door or Rajmarg as they say and other is Khuntichi vaat. Do not attempt the second one unless you are sure enough. Trek is relatively easy if attempted from Rajmarg. Khuntichi vaat adds thrill to the trek. There are many attractions on the fort including monolithic entrance door , Shiva temple, Hanuman temple, Devi temple, rock cut water tanks and grain storages. You can take private vehicles till the base village and locals are pretty helpful about parking too.
Hadsar Fort is quite magnificent.
The journey to the top of the fort takes only 45 minutes.
There are two ways to get to the top, one of which is somewhat adventurous.
On the fort, there are a few temples and lakes. You may also see three cannons and a few more items.
Overall, a nice experience
