For actually understanding my reason behind 5 star to this houseboat.. read my review on new retreat houseboat. it was pathetic over there. but because of Mr. Ashiq(owner of h. b. raj mahal) it was my best night in sringar.
H.B. Rajmahal is the best among all the houseboats at Dal Lake. Hospitality of Ashiq bhai was very touching and we felt like home and ended up staying one day extra. Ashiq bhai's son and caretaker Shahid were also very good and it was one of the best experience of our kashmir trip.
The best houseboat. Stayed there for 1night hope to get a chance to stay there again. Must visit. Fully recommended.
