Good environment and student Activity centre. A lake is also there. A world standard swimming pool is also located here, and a indoor badminton court is present at gymkhana.
You feel very well here at night if you are alone or with your friends. I mostly my time here beside the small lake. It is greenery area and beside the lake, there are gym, playing area, swimming pool, tennis courts etc.
A nice and calm place is perfect for a evening walk and photography around the lake, however it lacks proper maintenance as its common to find lights not working for stretches and absolutely terrible landscaping; for majority of the year it stays barren. Overall it is the best place to be at when you are at the campus!
This is good palce for chill-out at IITKgp. This palce is basically a park with a nice lake inside. This is situated beside the Gymkhana. Best time to visit: during Spring and summer evening/morning.
You need to register through the online IIT KGP portal. All kinds of sports even billiards are available here. I love to play TT here. The lake is just behind Gymkhana. All kinds of birthday celebrations generally happen here. You will find all the love birds near Lake every night.
A good place to relax and get lost in your thoughts just in case you are fed up of daily routine. Also a better place to chill out with your loved one or friends.
