Gyatso Is A Tibetan Food Truck In Khar, Mumbai That Serves Delish Momos, Phaleys And Thukpas They serve both veg & non veg The quality of the food is just as good as a gourmet restaurant They do not add any msg and everything is freshly done before you. So if you're around Bandra/Khar don't forget to visit Gyatso.

Never before have we tasted such amazing momos in mumbai, even at a high end restaurant ! Everything's was so fresh and every item had an elemental taste in the dishes. We ate 3 more dishes but were too impatient to click photos

Momos are the must try dish in this place (1 plate= 6 piece) Veg momo had some unique flavour and was delicious This is a food truck based service so you should have plenty of patience if you're travelling to this place as only one person is cooking the food and that adds on to the waiting time Drums of hell (1 plate= 6 piece) and garlic pepper chicken (bowl full of chicken pieces) were average. The chicken in both the dishes had this weird flavor/smell which comes when the chicken is not properly washed which made it difficult to eat The dishes could have been better if the chicken was well cooked or washed This place is quite reasonable for all these 3 dishes it cost us around Rs650

Gyatso is the place you need to be if you're looking for some authentic Asian food with good quantity at pocket friendly pricing!! Would highly recommend!!

I've been to Gyatso before and I knew that my craving of authentic Tibetan food would definitely be satisfied here. Even though I had been warned about the long waiting hours, I was so pleased to see how much they have substantially improved. Their management has become more efficient which is quite commendable at such a nascent stage of their venture. The owner spoke to us very sweetly and is really charming! He asked us twice about the preparations and if we required any assistance. 1000% would visit soon.

I'm so glad they've open their delivery place in Irla near Juhu, it turned out to be Quite Good!! Im impressed & thoroughly enjoyed the food. The quantities too are large. I actually look forward to ordering again

Unprofessional, unorganised, questionable quality and customer service, long waiting and not worth even half the price. They did not have some of the things I wanted, including Lapping. Ordered 4 different items. After waiting for over 40 mins, they tell us they have to cancel 1 item, they oversold dishes without an inventory check, that's a basic, but they missed on it. They gave one dish I ordered to someone else who came after me and later asked about replacing our order with a different dish due to stock issues. Even if I keeping aside waiting for OVER AN HOUR! since I would mainly judge a food joint based on the food; Their dishes are way overpriced for the quality. Their rice and plum chicken was decent tastewise, but not worth the quality, the plum chicken was watered down and not thick or as rich. They need to up their quality, customer service (rude chef, can't entirely blame him, they need more staff, only 1 chef preping orders) and organise better. They have been around for 3 months apparently, but if they continue like this, they will have pile up bad reviews and onky get first-timers a d no repeat customers, and eventually run out of business with a bad reputation unless they step up. People were cancelling their orders. The thukpa, was the worst I have had, so bland, even when compared to package noodles, would rather have packed noodles than the excuse for a thukpa, served without dumplings either. Glad I not keep good expectations.

Utterly disappointed. We had to wait for about 2 hours for food. The owner made us wait 30 mins just to take our order. He needs to upskill himself with customer service skills and learn how to be friendly towards customers. The food was bland and not worth the wait. Half the menu items weren't available and after waiting for almost 2 hours, 2 of the items ordered weren't available so we had to knock them off our order. The thukpa wasn't really good. It felt like someone dissolved Maggi masala in water and served it with boiled noodles. I have been to Tibet during my time as a consul general to the Chinese govt and I have had authentic Thukpa, Thenthuk, Llaphings etc. This was nowhere close. Yes, the original recipes are bland but they have a soulful taste to them. Just making chicken stock and adding noodles to them isn't a solution. I'll suggest you avoid this place.
