One of the airports which is under the Air Force. Small Airport which has a Single Gate, Single belt and Single runway. Facility wise less equipped but having all mandatory facilities. Limited flights of Spice Jet, Air India and Indigo are there. New Airport is under construction and it is much bigger and modern as compared to this one. Runway will be shared but still it would be great relief for Gwalior people.
Very small airport. Small ATR flights takes off and arrives. You can see peacocks roaming around inside the airport. Make sure that you arrive here with sufficient drinking water as you may not get any inside. New airport terminal is under construction nearby.
It's just average small pantry service for snacks , charging points ,wheel chair facility is available also new airport construction is in progress ..
Very small and basic airport with limited flights. Not busy at all. Nothing fancy here but its good to have an airport. Now its convenient to visit Gwalior. As its Defence airport, you can't click pictures inside the airport. So, I clicked few only from parking area.
Very small airport.. Don't have proper facilities to eat or drink after the security check in. Infact thers only 1 small shop, where we have to adjust ourself.. and there are no shops outside the airport also.. 1 small canteen was there inside the airport - but was closed..
Small domestic airport. Not too much flights land over here. The runway is not long for Boeing's to get landed neither they have space for taxing a big aircraft. It is primarily for Air Force, there are lot of Mirage 2000 here but you can't go to that place. Security here is very less, around 4-5 guarding the entrance. The parking area is good. Can be improved a lot more. Condition of seating area can be improved a lot.
Currently it is a small airport. It is like a bus stop. Can't feel like airport when enter inside. However, some construction is going on. Possibly in future it may become a good airport.
The current airport lacks infrastructure which shouldn't be the case for such a big city. The driver however informed that the new bigger airport is under development, so cross fingers for that. Other than that, it 'just' serves the basic purpose of airport..
It was a pleasure staying at this Girl Pg which is 5 min walking from phoolbhag chauraha. It is a nice pg with good and hygiene food and a very healthy and peaceful environment which is suitable for studying and Working womens. Breakfast is always on
