It's a historical place where Guru Gobind Singh Ji's mother and 02 younger children were kept by subedar of sirhind Wazir Khan. Unfortunately the original structure had been destroyed due to negligency of our visionless religious organizations but there is a Gurudwara Sahib built on the same place as a memorial. Every Sikh should visit here once in the lifetime to bow before those great sacrifices made by family of Guru Gobind Singh Ji

It was at the site of Gurdwara Burj Mata Gujri that the two younger sons, Fateh Singh and Zorawar Singh of Guru Gobind Singh and his mother were kept in confinement by Wazir Khan, the fort was known as `THANDA BURJ'. This place is considered a cool place during the summer. But it was a punishment for Guru's sons and his mother to keep them here in extreme winter.
