naaNdedd shhraaci aan baan shaan. The most rated place of Nanded. It is the second Gurudwara after Amritsar. It is developed by none other than Sikhs. Facts: It is built in the remembrance of the tenth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The inner prayer room, called the Angitha Sahib, is the place of Guru Gobind's cremation, which took place in 1708. The dome is gold-plated, with a gold-plated copper Kalash on top of it. The tenth apostle, Guru Gobind Singh moved to Nanded in 1708 and lived here during the final years of his life. Here, he declared that he would be the last guru of Sikhism. Nanded houses many gurudwaras including the Hazur Sahib Gurudwara, which is one of the Panj Takhts (five seats of authority) of Sikhism.
