Gursharn Protha House - Restaurant in Patiala - Patiala, India

You can find paranthas literally anywhere in Punjab, but these are something you should try whenever you visit Patiala. Only 1 type of Parantha is available here ie The Mix Parantha. The filling consists of Paneer, Peas (Mattar), Potatoes, Onions and the right amount of spices. The taste is pretty good as compared to normal stuffed paranthas and you kind of get the taste everything in the filling. Sometimes they do apply too much oil but you can ask them to apply less in the next one. Seating is small but the service is very fast! To put it together, at only Rs20/- these are the best Paranthas you can find in Patiala with all the veggies together! Cherry on top, the Chai was great too! Recently ate here on a Sunday morning.. The view is quite good from inside and it could be pleasant when the traffic is less. The paranthas were tasty but the choice is very limited. I asked for a simple aloo paratha, but they couldn't serve as they said that they only have gobhi, paneer and mix. Although the quality of food is great and the prices stand very reasonable.

I eat everytime whenever I m in Patiala for business visit, all time they served first 2 Parantha cooked in morning which is taste like unfresh and quite colder and Last 2 Parantha cooked on customer demand which is more fresh,hot, and crunchy, why they should do that I don't know, overall very bad experience, poor service by serving staff, poor talking Sens of owner with consumers, i refused for in future, looking for another option in Patiala,

Since 2006, I am casual visitor of "Gursharn Protha House" Shop. Quality of Pranthas of this shop is always been Superb. Atleast I have visited this place 500 times from 2006, not a single time I have faced any Quality issues with this Prantha House. One should definitely visit this shop for experiencing Good Taste, Superb Quality and for Excellent Service in Patiala. A good place to fuel yourself up quickly! The Paranthas were a bit of too oily for my liking but if you ask for a less oily one then they can fulfill your taste! 2 Paranthas with a little amount of curd have cost me 50 rupees. Overall, a great place to eat!

This place has very good parathas. I have been eating here since past 2 years on and off. Sitting space is bit crumpled but still the owner has nicely placed all the tables and chairs. Parathas with good pickle and with creamy curd(extra) is served with descent price. Tea is also available for tea lovers. Hope they start delivery on Zomato and swiggy soon.

Cheap , dhaba style parathas. The mix paratha are good but very thin. Can't expect much for rs. 20. Butter and curd are available for extra payment. So it adds up to 40 for mix and 60 for gobhi, Which is equal to restaurant rates , so only 3 stars. Can work great for a quick grab and go. Tea is good. You may have to wait for a table or share table with others.

Taste of the Prontha is very good. Waiting time is less than others. Mix Prontha is best in taste. The price is normal. But only tea surving. The best thing is that no waiting and timing
