Gurdaspur Bird Sanctuary - National park in Keshopur - Gurdaspur, India

This place is love for wildlife lovers .but there is some conditions like november to march is time for see the birds .and if rain was not happen in past few months you can not see the bird due to less water in pond migratory birds don't come there.. but you can enjoy in summer lotus flower in ponds fully covered ponds with lotus have great view.they also have birds special watching point and museum .nowadays dew less rain you can see only birds threw watching point only

Keshopur chummb community reserve , which has now made its mark at the international level after being declared a RAMSAR SITE.(google it) It falls on the way from Gurdaspur towards Baharampur road . Many species of birds can be seen here. There is a lot of influx of exotic birds, especially in winters. It is spread over a vast area. Wetland's administrative office is quite spacious, which is built in a modern style. Here in the galleries information about the birds found here is given along with pictures. There is also a small theater which has not started yet. You can come for bird watching with your friends and children. The staff working here is quite friendly. "It should be yours first priority in a vacation destination"

Fabulous Place but please note Down The months to Visit or see these Migratory birds,These months are DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY.These are the months when migratory Birds most from Siberia and another parts of World Stay at this Bird sanctuary for almost 3 months,These Bird sanctuary spreads over 4000 square acres of land and it's so Amazing to visit it ,I found there three towers at different locations at good heights to view perfectly the Migratory birds and other Creatures lives there,These all things are under the Forest Department of Punjab and On the Nearby link Road you found a Big Nice Architecture perfectly building for visitors ,where you got information of every bird came here and lives here,There is Visitors Gallery in the big compound which shoes every Bird came Here ,Their Name as well their whole details,There is lot of Space for visitors for parking their Vehicles and go to enjoy bird sanctuary,One thing I noticed there that there was no availability of water in Toilets and also there is no drinking water source,One biggest issue was that whole big structure,A symbol of Superb Architecture work was without of ELECTRICITY but instead of all these things The building maintained well and Gallery was Amazing, Cleaned surfaces, Greenery all around, Good looking Structure like we are came to CHANDIGARH,Really Appreciable Architecture work done ,All Credit goes to FOREST DEPARTMENT OF DISTRICT,My best wishes for that location as it's world known Bird sanctuary,Dear Sir please arrange the ammenties like water and Electricity Availability as these are basic needs for that Superb structure.Regards to every person Helping towards Developing This Bird Sanctuary a Different and Special location for Tourists and Visitors.
