Guntur Municipal Corporation is 1st largest ULB in the Guntur District of A.P. Guntur municipality was constituted in the year 1866 and the first elected body was formed in 1881. The municipality was upgraded to II-Grade in 1891, I-Grade in 1917, Special Grade in 1952 and then to Selection Grade in 1960. In 1994, the Municipal Corporation was formed.

Very fast process for issuing certificates like birth certificate and death certificate.

Birth certificate and name initiation process can be done here.. crowded place, 1pm to 2.30 pm lunch break. Security guards acts as a managers

All govt services are available but very delayed process

What's the use of Municipal Corporation when Apartment flats are getting sold to owners from builders but not getting transferred to owners name even after 1 year of purchase in Platinum County, Amaravathi Road, Guntur. Who is responsible for delay.. is it builders or corporation..

No neat maintenance but it is a big place parking is good entrance in is congested

Its beautiful working environment and we had a good municipal commissioner, now a days we are very happy, on pandemic time with corona virus covid-19 they did lot of work, they caring people, staff observed all areas and takes lot of sanitized takes lot of responsibility, they took lot of precautions makes under control that virus, mainly low categorized workers makes sanitized whole town, all ward workers collect dustbins cleaned dust & crappies from road sides & hospitals.
