Its a great view point to enjoy with friends and family there is no entrance fee but you have to climb the stairs
Near the highly populated and bustling Trimulgherry road, on the Military Dairy Farm rood, is the striking crop of boulders called the Gun Rock Hill. Gun Rock is not only home to wild animals, but is a preferred destination for bouldering, for beginners and pros. There are smaller boulders for beginners, but one must also try the harder ones to climb. There are lovely places to rest once one gets to the top. Now due to covid no one is allowed to go to the hill..not even the army people themselves...
We were surprised to such a place in city. Marvellous and a must place for all to explore the view of city from here, we went on for a breakfast and a sun rise view today (02-Aug-2020), mind blowing place, yes this is a forest kind of a place where you will enjoy every moment here. Please do carry water with you guys always during your visit, there is no water facility up in the hill and no one is there to stop you or question you. Make sure you along with your friends always to enjoy the place and to be safe as always. Happy trekking and mountaineering.
Its really splendid place for hanging out with friends. Most amazing part of this place the view firm the top of hill. From the top of hill you can see whole hyderabad city. Its a perfect place gor training and practices rockclimbing. This place also has historical imporance there is water tank built on top of this hill by hyderabad nizam army they also made bunker to have edge in case of war.

Just went there today. The Army guys whistled/shouted from top that visitors are not allowed. Looking at other reviews, looks like it is closed from a year or so
It's away from the city and somewhere in middle of a jungle. The only way to reach even near it is to trek. The area comes under the military. According to locals it's surrounded by thousands of snakes so be prepared accordingly if you are planning to visit this place.
It was located near hasmatpur wher it was connects to tirumalgirry. Gunrock was a sight seeing place where u can climb can see the places like tank bund from here. Ther is a military water tank constructed on top of the gun rock hill try once it was nice place.
