Very panoramic place, one side you will see the back water and other side hills in middle road, wind fans. Very suggestive place to see the sunset here. Best thing here is to watch the sunset and pink sky after sunset
Had a quick trip to Hampi for 2 nights which us actually very less. Need at-least 4 days in hampi if u like exploring. There is lot to explore. This the picture and video is of gunda forest which is just before entering hampi and it is backwaters of Tungabadra dam. It looks like a beach and the entry for this from the gunda forest park and entry ticket is just 10 rupees per person. There were many family's for a day picnic here and has basic amenities to sit. Play area for kids. Just a small shop or a cafe where we get biscuits, chips and beverages. Also thanks to the guys in cafe for arranging the rice for us when they came to know that we had not had our lunch.

Wonderful weather Tourist place
I have been to this place since my childhood, with friends & best buddies... Recently few years back, it's been renovated revamped and it's been maintaining very well.... My family favorite spot as every year after dhussara we visit gunda Forest and leave the saplings of navaratara Pooja... The water is cleaner seasonally, it's not drinkable, & there are few crocodile's in tungabhadra dam, & you should be very careful while going for a swim....
