Guna jn comes under the Bhopal division of WCR It is junction point for Indore-Gawalior line (via shivpuri) and Bina-Kota line, For Indore/Ujjain the line bifurcates from Ruthiyai jn. It has 3 long well sheltered platform. Entry and exit is from platform 1 side. The main entrance has reserved and unreserved ticket counters and enquiry counter. The station has all the Waiting room and lounges just after entering the platform number 1 besides the Station manager's office. The station seems neat and clean. The station has a number of stalls from where you can buy water bottle, biscuits, etc. As soon as the train reaches the platform the vendors came out with their stuff like samosa, kachori even rajma-chawal The station is being guarded by RPF so its quite safe as well. Location - approx 1 km away from main road of Guna. Cleanliness - poor Waiting hall - available, but very dirty(not worth to wait) Transit availablity - Good connection for Major city in Madhya Pradesh and nearby states. Display boards - available with departure schedule and relative information. Staff - onsite staff seems unavailable. Platforms cleanliness - poor Convenience availablity - Auto rickshaw available for Guna city. Overall experience - So poor and average.
