Gumbadara Viewpoint - Tourist attraction in Takdah, Peshok Tea Garden - Kalimpong, India

Even if luck doesn't grant you a glimpse of the astonishing Mt. Kanchenjunga (as was the case for us), this spot still has much to offer. The lush green tea gardens, the view of the pine forest, and the winding black-pitched road in the valley add their own unique charms. It's a delightful spot to capture a few travel pictures and stands out as one of the cleanest viewpoints in the area.

Gumbadara View Point is the top part of Peshok Tea Garden. You can experience such lush green vegetation out there. And also you can see both Sikkim and Kalimpong from there.

Excellent views from this place. You can see the valleys and the mountains. The aroma of tea gardens encompasses the air and the sights can be savored with eyes. It is a must visit place if you are coming to Darjeeling. Most local taximen know about this place and it can be covered when coming to Lamahatta. There are a couple souvenir shops and tea/snack joints here.

Nice place. Inside tea garden a corner of the road is known as the viewpoint. The Kanchanjanghaa can be seen from here. Just beside tinchuley.

Wonderful view point with tea garden view and hills around. One should not miss this experience when visiting Tukdah or Tinchuley. Recommended for all.

Wonderful viewpoint of the hills far away and the road winding to get to the top. Standing in the tea garden and taking in the fresh air is all that you want. The wind is cool and fast. Definitely you should take a stop at this point.

Beautiful overview of peshok tea estate. The all round view of the valley is breathtaking. Also you can hike to the gumbadara cave point. Though there is no cave there. There is only two rocks there. If you want to climb it you can do so. The climb to the rocks is very very steep.
