Gulshan Dhaba - Punjabi restaurant in Murthal, Sonipat - Sonipat, India

Gulshan Dhaba is a fantastic dining establishment that I highly recommend. The food is absolutely delicious, with a wide range of flavorful dishes that cater to various tastes. We had Malai kofta Lacchha Paratha Missi Paratha mix veg and Garlic naan. All were good and the taste was up to the mark. Malai kofta was too sweet but that is how it is I guess in this region of the country. Lastly we had Kullad Chai which was really good.

We had lunch here. Our first visit to Gulshan dhaba, had visited Amrik sukhdev twice. These dhabas have become now a full fledged restaurant, we didn't find the actual authenticity, vibe of dhaba. Service was very prompt. We ordered sweet lassi, Matar Mushroom , Boiled rice, Green salad, Aloo pyaaz tandoor parantha and Rabri kulfi falooda. Taste wise all was good except rabri kulfi falooda which consisted lots of artificial syrup. Food was not value for money. Quantity was very less. Especially lassi which was 95/- rupees.

Staff was very good, rooms were very clean , well maintained. Loved the stay. Only problem was non veg was not allowed. Staff was friendly and polite. They provided everything we needed and also a complementary breakfast

The place is even older than Amrik Sukhdev and used to be the main competition of it for a long time. I have been visitor of both these places. Though Sukhdev had gained more popularity and limelight, the food of Gulshan is better. Overall taste, freshness and ease of parking even during peak time. The place is also recommended in Highway on my plate by Rocky & Mayur. The parthas filling was good and tastes fresh. Butter dollup still served in separate bowl full of it and not like Sukhdev on plate and lesser quantity. Amritsari kulhcha was large and soft, slightly saltier than it should have been. Only areas which it lacks compared to Sukhdev is only washrooms. Rest everything is better here. As load is less, faster service is expected (but it's not much delayed). Servers can be better trained to remain attentive. Parking is seemless, which is a pain in Sukhdev at peak hours.

It's good option in murthal. Have been here thrice. It was good always. The kulchas are really good. Veggies are average. Tea is awesome. Nice parking space and huge sitting area.

I ordered red souce pasta. but it's to sweet not good in taste they need to increase Chinese cuisine taste. But I love North Indian food I ordered parathas, dal makhani and paneer that was to yum .

Must try their chole bhature. Their chole bhature are delicious and they serve with Saffron kulladh chai which is fantastic! Overall 4/5 Food- 5/5 Service- 4/5 (Services could be better as you might find slight delays on weekends due to rush) Atmosphere- 4/5 (Interiors are just fine and not as good as other famous Dhabhas) Parking- 3/5 (Small Parking Lot)
