Vast collection of books available. Each book is well placed in an appropriate section. Staff is friendly.
This is the only bookstore in kashmir with the heart wrecking aesthetics and the overwhelming book stacks. But, there is no order to the collection. Indian and american authours are mixed in shelves and there is no categorization with the genre. I would love to see it's improvement in the organization, so that i can take a moment with the books to choose from a genre of my choice.
A book shop in the middle of world famous asal lake. A coffee shop accompanied the bookshop. The day I visited it , the coffee shop was closed due to snowfall the previous day. The books are alive here. This books shop has a Limca book of world records. A must visit for a book lover and traveller in Srinagar

Genuinely courteous staff. Nice ambience. Provision made for quietly reading or sampling a book. You can browse to your leisure and won't feel uncomfortable at all. If you are visiting Kashmir and are in Srinagar do visit them. I would highly recommend this bookshop!
A lovely book store near the Residency road. They have a wide range of books ranging from classics, historical fiction, mysteries, Kashmiri history, poetry, Sufi, and so much more. The owners are lovely and kind. Overall, a wonderful place to explore books.
It ia a very nice place for book lovers to visit and get some favourite books here. If you are looking for a particular book ,make sure to call them first as some books may be out of stock. I recently visited for a particular book I had even called them few days back and at that time it was there ,but when I visited there it was out of stock. I then got another book which was in my list. Here you can get Kashmiri books, Rumi md mystics(and like) , probably all types of novels , Kashmiri history, books for children and a lot. You can have a look at the books yourself bring provided a choice to look at books and any book can catch your attention and you can get it. Plus you can get some discount too here. The paper quality of books is better than the books we get online at cheaper rates. If your reading is dependent on paper quality as well just like me then I suggest you to go for this book or in this case any other shop and not the online one.
