Gulmohar Beach Resort and Cottages - Resort hotel in Calangute, Saligao - North Goa, India

There was no kettle, no fridge.... Basic amenities were missing from the room... Had to ask for everything. Hotel can be compared with oyo rooms, don't spend more than 2 to ,2.5k for this hotel.

Worst experience,while checking the team of the reception very sweet polite and friendly, after check in, service was pathetic, food not good and too expansive, food quality not good. While chwking out receptionist forcefully ask tips, if we not paid , they came.in group of 3-4 people and took bags,mobiles and they tell " you want to go alive or without mobile and luggage pay 2-3k then leave, after paying 2-3 k they will leave us, if you alone then you not do anything Please be careful before booking the room

We spent 3k for one room. Rooms were super clean and we just had to face the mosquitos.

Pathetic, not even tea available there .Not provided drinking water . What three star this is ? Won't recommend to any

I have visited this place with friends this is the best place if are going with friends since it has pool , best food , accommodation all 3 in one place

Amazing property with reasonable price. The manager of this property is so humble and always supportive to his guests. The breakfast was delicious. The specialities of this property are the spacious rooms and an amazing pool from where you would not want to come out. The last thing I want to add is the cleanliness which was awesome again and it has brilliant and helpful staff too.

Rooms and washrooms are pathetic. Not at all hygienic. We wanted to extend the stay atleast for 2 days but we had to check out early. There's a foul stench odour all over the place right from the reception. Their fish tank is full of fungus. And the dog they have kept is kept in a pathetic State. They don't even feed that dog. It's only skin and bones. No sense of maintenance. The beds and mattresses were stinky, bedshees had stains those were not cleaned. I personally would not like to visit such places where they just open the places and do not maintain. I have no clue how they managed to get so many positive reviews. We actually booked the stay after reading the reviews. And the state we saw was completely different. Balconies not maintained, and there were used paper dishes with a stale food stench. Completely unpleasant stay . It's my polite request to the owner that please look after the animals and feed them well, and maintain the apartments well. And pls upload the latest photos.

Food is really good. Service is slow. And there's no proper power backup. I went in the monsoon season and I could hardly visit places, meaning I was in my cottage most of the time and I had to go through hours of darkness, and no air conditioning.
