Gulf of Mannar Biosphere Reserve and National Park - National park in Pamban - Ramanathapuram, India

This place is maintained by the TN government and they even offer tourism to this island via government run boats at a cost of Rs. 300/- we are given a local guide to walk us around the island with a visit into one of the abandoned or left out marine research centres in the heart of the island. At the edge of the island one will find a white sand beach with light blue colored water. It is one of the peaceful and breathtaking views of the island. When we reached we were welcomed with a heavy rainfall which made the atmosphere even more cooler for us to walk around. Truly a hidden gem of Rameshwaram which is known by few people

This place is a must to visit with your family.. go early in the morning so it's not too hot. You will be gifted with sightings of coral , if lucky dolphins, and an amazing landscape and pristine white sand blue water beach which is hidden. Tamilnadu tourism has done a good job in maintaining this place. The ride to this island will cost you 300 per person. If it's windy then you need to wait.

Nice places to see around and spend time with kids. It named as Kunthukal beach. Vivekandar memorial is here. It's very quiet place to do meditation. It has few facilities for kids. Entrance fee is Rs5 for adults and children. Just beside, there's boat ride to nearby Island. Charge is Rs300/person for adults. Just about 15 minutes ride to see coral stones and one Island. Nothing much inside the island. 12 people can board on the boat. So they wait until 12 people to gather. If less people they have to share the 12 people's charge of Rs3600.

This island has been recently opened for the public by the forest department. The boat ride costs Rs300 per head and minimum 10 members are needed per boat to visit the island. This island has the world's oldest marine research centre. There are some corals around this island and if you are lucky you can spot some dolphins near the island shore.

This is one of a kind maritime museum opened on the kurusadai island with a partnership by TN and maritime bodies. There exists gulf of mannar and is a very rich bio eco reserve thriving with many marine species. The aim of creating this place is to educate people about the same. It's an open place located next to vivekanada museum on beach and is free to visit. The location is close to fortified Beach and one can sit here outside and enjoy the calm winds.

Perfect spot to take your bike off-roads, to spine around in bikes in that muddy beaches was just amazing.
